Yes! Very true! Isn't every human being? But there is factor called rationalism! That's what is needed in both Dev and Vidhi's character.

And then, why did Vidhi not heed Arjun's advice when the poor boy sat their without a drop of water, nirjala vrat, Dehydrate hoke Hospital pahucha do Arjun ko and then let Vidhi run to him🤣

....Consistency nahi rakh paa rahe hein Dev Sir.

He really need a lap to cry , and I want he should burst out his feelings like a kid literally before Vidhi by bumping his face into her lap.

Ah! Such cute scene.❤️ I became like Dimaag mein poori film chal gayee! Would watch that scene at least 10 times.

Quite possible he can say that, especially after saying that dialogue in car, " kuch der aur mere saath baith jaogi yahan toh kuch bigad nahin jayega".

Uff...... Imagine karke haal behaal ho rakha hai mera. Maar hi daalo mujhe aaj. Aur anticipate nahin kiya jaata.

Waise on a serious note, Abhi is not wrong in pestering Dev...... In his mind, this is typical Dev behaviour to run away from Shadi topic....... And on paper Amba looks like a good match, aur Chitra uski bhi weak point hai, laadli behen dono bhaiyon ki....... If you remember in one episode he said to Chitra, "dekh Dev Bhai ne Naa ki hai toh unhe koi nahin mana sakta especially jab Maa bhi unki side hai. Tu bhul Jaa ye sab, main teri madad nahin kar sakta ....." Then he saw Vidhi convincing Dev and he thought yahi mana sakti hai bhai ko shaadi ke liye......

Ab usse kya pata Amba kis level ki psycho hai. Na Dev ne aur na Satyavati ne clearly usse bola ki Dev hesitant kyun hai Amba se shaadi ke liye..... Ismein Dev ki bhi galti hai .... Kabhi baat clear hi nahin karta woh.....

Mein toh tadap rahi hoon yeh scene dekhne ke liye.....Kya zabardast likha aapne

Dev kaa hug itna intense aur tight hoga kee poocho mat .....Jab woh royega, usko gale se lagake dekhte hi pata nahin kya haal ho jaayenge hamari

To add to the point of Dev's logic, Dev does plan usually but at that time he is in a calm state. Even the day first Chitra told him to marry Amba he didn't agree, that day he was visibly calm and composed.

Today after seeing Vidhi confess and in such a vulnerable state, he is anything but calm. On top of that he is wrestling with his feelings to such an extent that he felt literally suffocated today. Chest pe haat rakha thha usne Aaj Vidhi ka shirt pehente time. He is in very much pain. Aur aise mein logical nahin rehta insaan.

Also, denying his laadli sister has always been his achilees heel. Bahut mushkil se mana kiya tha usse last time. Every time he denies her, he feels bad. Like he said today, "thak gaya hun main Vidhi". He is in a state where he doesn't care what happens to him. He is exhausted. In his mind, marrying Amba will not only make Chitra happy but make Vidhi move on because he will be unavailable.

To the point of Arjun, like Telly said, he is in constant tussle, spontaneously he does something erratic because his heart tells him to, and only next moment he realises ki aisa nahin karna thha. Remember jab Arjun gift kar raha thha earings Vidhi ko, instinctively phone lagaya vidhi ko taki Arjun pictures na le sakey but then while ending the call, his expressions, he was irritated at himself like "kya bachkani harkat ki yaar Maine".

His brain tells him Arjun is better suited for Vidhi than him, but what should he do with his heart which aches for Vidhi, and instinctively his heart takes over every time and only later he realises his actions.

Having said all this, definitely makers are making a mess every now and then. They could have definitely done a better job in so many places, too much of a long list to jot down. The saving grace for such messes is the lead pairs acting, both are doing a tremendous job.
