These twitterposts combined with Ayan's last interview don't give me much hope for the whole thing. Far too many indecisions as for the story/screenplay and the actors/actresses.

They (writer/director/producer) seem to wait for certain things to happen...

... and I feel by giving the year 2024 as (probable) shooting-start they really kill the hype.
