Love scenes are regressive but that's apt for the story. The characters are living in forest village,that too in 90's . It won't align with Shiva's character if he acts like a woke gentleman to his lover .

yes, it is the same in pushpa too and that was set in the 80s though it was probably not required to shpw that secne it did

anyway he also drops her to work and gets her the home job location so he is open in his own way not the way we see it which is actually how the real world is, ppl are regressive and progressive in diff ways
