I didn't read every post so pardon me if I got the context wrong but from few post that I have read the discussion of new ML, morality and justice is being discussed.

Let's say there is a new ML in the town I can guarantee that he would be another toxic character on the show like VC. He won't be the Anuj. The reason is ghum has a pattern which it follows from beginning and if we go by that any person taking over ML has to share the blame when Sai makes a mistake. Before people jump guns of me hear me out

During Devkit marriage, Sai was wrong in blindly trusting Pulkit when there were proofs against him even if its fake it was there, and she didn't have any reasons to believe it as fake except her gut feeling. She got a mental challenged person married. What if Pulkit had turned to be a fraud. She was wrong but that was balanced by making Virat commit bigger crime. The focus was on Virat's mistakes now.

During hand holding, Virat concern were right that she was meeting an unknown professor alone at home and Sai was careless. It was balanced by making Virat behave the way he did so the focus was on his mistakes now.

There are few more incidents, but these were the major ones i could think of. Ghum is back to following this pattern now. Let's say Virat hadn't misused his power and had confronted her like the ML of Sony show then the audiences would have sided with Virat more than Sai. I have already mentioned I understand Sai not revealing only if she had mentioned snatching Vinu as a reason but that wasn't the reason, and she has forgiven Pakhi so any other reason falls flat and makes her gunegar of Virat and Savi . Thats Vankar's ways of making sure Sai is not the only one to be blamed and to bring drama in the show . Virat is going to beg forgiveness this time and Sai will have upper hand.

Going by Virat's characterization till pre leap it doesn't sit well with the way he behaved yesterday but he is made to behave like that for a reason. Even if there is new ML he will be turned into another VC in ghum world.

After watching yesterday's episode, I felt terrible for Sai and wanted her to get her revenge from Virat and get him suspended. The earlier version of me would have felt frustrated and I would be ranting on many things fow whole day but now I have understood this is just a show where overnight things change for TRP and wrong place to look for realism, morality and ethics. At same time, I understand if people are frustrated as everyone views with different lens. Even today some things trigger me but apart from ranting I can't do much and makers will continue doing what they feel like.

Virat right now acts cruel. To me he doesn’t look like a father or husband just selfish egoistic man. If he operated as father he would not take Savi away knowing she is sick. No where there is a sign that he love Sai well forget love he doesn’t even consider Sai as a worthy human being.

Countless time ITV has shown leads loggerheads but never you miss a connect with the fact that they still love eo. Not here though. And Whenever they went so far with one character it mean entry of new lead or dead ship.

Vankar takes pride in saying Ghum is close to real life- I really want him to take this to a route where he shows Virat’s obsession with Vada and PL’s obsession with Virat causing their downfall. Sai walks out if Virat’s life with her kids n her head held high.
