Sunday Episode -

I think the song selection could have been even better. Few beautiful Rajshri songs were not sung.

As @PV_IFhandle said, it was good to see the visuals along with the performances.

Today's best performance was definitely Vineet. He sings Mohd Rafi/Sonu Nigam songs very well.

Chirag, Senjuti, Shivam-Sonakshi, Anushka were good.

Bidipta, Kavya, Sanchari decent.

Star of the week - Definitely Shivam.

Some interesting anecdotes were shared by the guests.

Antakshari well recreated. Thankfully HR & Neha didn't sing much.

Sooraj Ji seems to be such a humble person.

Was giving coins just a one off or is it a case of judges not impressed 😆

I’m so glad the judges didn’t give a mausam badal diya to every performance. Normally even mediocre performances get MBD, but today just one.

Singing wise I think yesterday was better. Coming to todays performances.

Senjuti - I hadn’t heard the kaun disa song, but I really enjoyed her singing it and I heard it later. I think she did a fab job. She was pretty good with yeh mausam ka jadoo as well.

Bidipta - kabootar ja ja was good, mai ni mai was ok. Overall she was good.

Anushka - what a disappointment. I didn’t enjoy any of her two songs today. She was off tune, almost like she was singing a different song.

Sonakshi and Shivam - fantastic! They were both so so good. While Sonakshi was wonderful, Shivam had all my attention, that’s how good he was.

Chirag - he sang Gori tera gaon very very well. I haven’t heard the other song but he sounded good.

Vineet - when he started I think his first note didn’t hit right, but he recovered in a second and then there was no looking back. That he’s phenomenal is known but I would really like him to sing some lighter songs. It’s kind of monotonous now.

Kavya - I don’t know if I don’t enjoy her performances because it was genuinely not good or it’s in my head. I try hard to find positives but I just think she doesn’t deserve to be there (though she wasn’t the worst today).

Sanchari - She is so so good. When I watched her audition, I feared she’d be another Shanmukhapriya and Vishal would constantly go ga-ga over her. But she’s genuinely good. Enjoyed her performance today.

Antakshri - Bidipta kinda sounded screechy in the first song, even Sanchari maybe went to high because her voice started thinning out. The rest were either ok or good.

Very interesting story given by Suraj Barjatya. He said that after MPK was a hit he asked his father what should he do next and his father said Nadiya Ke Paar. So in HAHK he recreated some elements, though with a slightly changed context. Yeh Mausam Ka Jaadu Hai Mitwa was a remaking of Kaun Disa Se in a modern context.

Anupam’s Kishore da story & Boman’s wry humour throughout had me in splits. A graceful Neena also added to it. ‘ budhape mein toh role mila’🤣🤣. A welcome refreshing change of guests. 👍.
wish they do more of this instead of repeating Govinda & his contemporaries. Come to think of it, this should’ve gone as Diwali episode.

Actually you are right. They could have made a 2 day Diwali special weekend.

Yes..what a mind blowing film..watched it years back and still remember there were so many moments that make u feel overwhelmed..a tearjerker. Incidentally it released on Nov 6..same date that this epi was aired
