Double xl trailer was great and the film offered something different

but I didn’t like the reviews

Yes but akshay's movie is day 11 and katrina's day 1..difference is still 90lakh only..not much of an achievement by any means

The problem is not just event films even a karthikeya and kantara which are small films have worked pan india.
And even Bw event films have mostly tanked like prithviraj, shamshera, lsc etc

Also all genres are working in other languages like thiruchitrambalam in Tamil or sita Ramam which are simple drama romance

I am starting to think the problem is deeper, a complete shift of Hindi audience had happened, they have moved and getting them back is not going to be easy and none of the current stars are able to entice them back.
