In ITV, they go after men for some reason, In every other show male characters can form a "Crime against women" club.

Why is it that the female audience doesn't like good male characters?

movies are different the target audiences is mostly those mass crowd who wants to see the machoism on screen . There are movies which are an exception but in general movies showcase men as hero and serials women as hero and there can be only one hero . Women brings glamour and romance to movies and men do the same in serials . Things are changing but majority follow this pattern .

Pre leap I haven't seen even once that Sai not being his family except ousting track.

He has tried to explain his family to change their perception towards Sai and had taken few stands, not enough I know but according to his character it's enough because he is people pleaser and is raised in that way to try to make everyone happy.

And I don't want to talk about self respects of itv characters and specially about FL's because it's very twisted one and it never convinces me in right way. When coming to Sai's compromise yes it actually happened post confession and we already witnessed how long it lasted, moreover Sai always had options to walk out from family and which she rightly did post Pakhi truth reveal.

Virat hasn't understood Sai's insecurities yet neither he has understood how Sai might be feeling when she is name called as orphan or infertile, it's yet to address and hope its addressed because its really triggering as a viewer. But again in real life also people randomly says those things to others and don't even apologise, and in ghum they actually shows reality on those things so really can't say if this thing will be brought up or not.

Ok virat did whatever he did because of his DUTY in shruti track. Don't know how come protecting a nexilite from police comes under duty though.

I am talking about his behaviour towards his family post landmine.

As u said he is people pleaser, family man so why he was hell bent on not forgiving his family?

He was so ready to leave them and live alone. Why?

His mother almost had to touch his feet. Still the family man didn't melt.

I already mentioned "except at initial time" regarding him asking his family to accept sai. If he requested his family to accept sai 1-2 times that too only when he is in good terms with sai, then he asked sai to tolerate his family abuse 5-7 times, many times he himself participated in his family abuse.

That's not what is called balancing between family and wife.

@ Why would he call her orphan if she thinks she is his family. If he called her orphan because of slip of tongue, he would have regretted it but he called her orphan 2-3 times.

Let's say sai is his family, pakhi is his family. Pakhi did crimes against sai. So with whom he should have stand by? He stand with pakhi who is criminal and ready to let go of sai who is victim.

When his so called family asking him to bail pakhi, can't he say I will bail her out but she can't stay in this house or else I will leave the house with my wife and kid. Did he say it? No.

He literally asked sai to forgive pakhi just because she spent two hours in jail.

@italic orphan, infertile, characterless, bad upbringing, burden are not the words one would say normally in real life and get away with it.

Any sane person would broke from inside by hearing those words.

So kindly don't normalise this.

Here's my two cents on Virat's characterisation post leap......

I do think he is compromised but not to the level we all are thinking if we see from neutral perspective.....

A guy has a huge fight with his wife, and due to his own inability and misjudgment of the circumstances the wife leaves with their child and later assumed to be dead in accident, his whole world collapses in just fraction of some hours.....he think himself as their culprit, he went to the suicide missions, try to kill himself, later found an orphan kid, got attached to him and made him his reason to live, he married a woman to provide that child security and a happy family........years passed, he still lived in the memories of his first wife, didn't give a chance to his second marriage, yet believed himself responsible for the death of his first wife and was waiting for his death to reunite with his love in another realm....... family comes into the picture they want their son to now move on from his first wife and start a family with his second wife coz it's been years and life goes on........he unwillingly agrees but bam he encounters with his first wife and she was alive and happening.......form get go it seems to him as if the whole past years of his life were a lie.......He was in love with his wife, waiting to meet her in another world but she was in this world only and didn't contact him for so many years.......wasn't he important to her? Was their love a lie? He tried to seek some answers but he didn't get bcoz apparently now he is married to another and he doesn't have any right on his first wife, plus he has assumed that his first wife moved on coz she has a kid and he was still pinning for her that hurt his ego........he ran way from there coz he is an escapist but destiny brought his first wife again in his life as his adopted son's doctor.....but the professional relationship was hard to maintain due to all the personal undercurrents yet he tried to show her that he too has moved on, tried to make her jeolous and get some reaction from all those anniversary fiasco .......but he didn't get any.....he thought that the said wife is completely over him and now he has to move on too bcoz again life goes on........but he knew she affects him and he will not be able to get over her till she is in his periphery hence he wanted her to go asap to save himself.........but now it will be revealed that his wife didn't move on, he shares a kid with her........the initial reaction will be the sheer anger and hatred that even after having thier kid she didn't come back, deprived him of his child and their happy family but later on when his anger will cool down the realisation will strike that on all these years she didn't move on but he did.....now that's where the dilemma began.......

This what I worte is what they have written Virat on paper, the character has emotional depth and a proper motivation on the paper and comes out as an interesting character.......

But the biggest setback in this interesting character is "THE WOMAN HE MARRIED SECOND TIME".......the problem is that in his whole characterisation, that he married Pakhi despite knowing all her past records, this specifically is major problem and take his character graph to Zero and that is the only reason why nobody is able to relate to his character or the actions behind it post leap.......

Otherwise just imagine that this Second woman he married is not Pakhi and someone else then Virat's character will get more sympathises in the story and more than him people would've feel bad for the woman whom he married, who became victim of his love story with first wife........but fortunately or unfortunately it happens to be Pakhi, who was the major driving factor behind all this and hence neither we are able to feel any sympathy for Virat nor his second wife and all the sympathise went in the lap of Virat's first wife.......

Because him marrying Pakhi under whatever circumstances is unacceptable and that's the biggest falter of his character.........

Ps: Not a Virat supporter 😭, not even supporting his pathetic actions, Just trying to understand the character of Virat without the lense of the actions of Sai and Pakhi........

Jags gets info that Sai is leaving. UM is best friends with him but even she doesn't know. In all probability the house belongs to Jags, hence he knew as soon as Sai must have placed a call to landlord.

Why is he drinking though? Hadn't he given up alcohol?

This Jags ka house has a potential for further MU or a ploy to bring Sai to CN. Can go both ways. 👍🏼

P has dressed Vinu in tuxedo. He is looking cute. Cross checks with P once again on the promise given for completing the race.

P has taken the ticket and boarded the train for negative insecure P. It might be reading too much but she monologues that V is happy today because Vinu fulfilled V's Sapna!!!

So this wasn't P's Sapna???? Vinu walking was not her prerogative??? So all those fasts, prayers and barefoot walking was a pretence??? Mother P doesn't exist????

Or she existed only till P needed Sai to cure Vinu. And now that he has, Lover P has overtaken her???

Vinu brings the papers made by Saavi and V is stunned. Is unable to reply or say anything apart from looking shocked. Jags saves him from the situation and paves the way for subsequent tracks. Now when V brings Saavi to CN after reveal... he need not explain it to everyone the paternity but can just portray it as agreeing to Vinus wish... nicely played 👏

Omi has extra bravado due to BK's power position. This is the same Omi who was a scaredy cat last time Jags had created a scene.

Jags is super cute and truly a changed man.

Jags Omi shot was framed in such a manner that Sam ka pic is visible in background. I need someone to make sense of it 👍🏼

Love does change a person and it's visible in the V-Jags altercation. Jags has come to talk and even though is inebriated, buttons up his shirt to talk like a gentleman, whereas V a person of power and good upbringing behaves like a ruffian in thrashing Jags. Jags doesn't fight back, receives all the beating. This is certainly not the Jags we know. It looked like V too is observing this.

Almost goes to the point of killing him by choking him.

P is distraught but only because she saw the mad rage and I felt she was genuinely worried for V that he might actually kill Jags.

V is supremely mad. More than what he showed for Gulab. One is the added MU fed by Vitthal, past history of Jags and Sai and Sam, KJ death.

Jags keeps on repeating that he wants to talk. Mentions Saavi and that angers V more.

P tries hard but is unable to control V. Omi takes over and he gets his machochism out. Throw Jags out of the house and V closes the door on him. Turns around and has a distraught frustrated look.

I don't know why that scene reminded me of the pre leap fight ka last scene where V closed the door on Sai.

V has a flashback of the slap and you are nobody and storms off to his room. P wants to go after him but better sense prevails and Ash asks her to go to Vinu.

If my prediction is right, Ash will voice her assault concern to V, which will make him run to Sai for clarification only to know she has already left.

BK finally has her brain cells working. Is wondering what Jags wants to talk to V about. She could go either way... but it made me wonder which spoiler to trust? SBS or IF 😆

Elsewhere Sai has already moved out, has a flashback of tent hug and V asking her to reveal to Saavi. Saavi is ill and has been fed medicine. UM is joining her to Kankavli but is not happy either.

While going away, Sai sees her ring peeking out, she buries it back but is noticed by UM. UM might ask Jags to pull it out if she knows that the house belongs to him.

Overall a good episode.

An overwhelming feeling I had today is we as audience need some flashbacks or clarifications on leap years.

V, Sai, P, Ash, UM... are all looking confused and problematic.

I wish we get to know a few of these things throughout the post leap episodes. Bits and pieces here and there.

1. This post leap V wouldn't have looked so bad if they had shown a recollection of V regretting calling Sai anaath and that's why he is adopting Vinu. They could have shown a scene where he convinces the family why he needs to do this.

2. P is supposedly changed.... but what brought this transformation??? She doesn't seem guilty of snatching everything from Sai. So does she really has a hand in orchestrating the whole Vinu adoption process?

3. Sai didn't inform V of Saavis birth. She didn't want to... so why was she waiting for him? Moreover Sai is not a person to hold a grudge forever... certainly not for an important info like this. So why?

4. How is UM friends with Jags??? I do feel there is some connect to the leap where he informed UM of Sais whereabouts and thats why UM sees him in different light.

5. V today called Jags as Sam ka kaatil. So he doesn't seem to consider Sai as culprit. Didn't think he ever was... but then he had told Sai about Sam ki arthi ka bojh.... why doesn't he have any recollection of how wrong it was?

6. Till today, The surrogacy and baby snatching has not been seen as wrong by either V or Ash... so P is not the culprit for them. But then why the flip ... how did P convince them so surely.

7. Sam unfortunately is only mentioned in connection to Jags... why doesn't anyone in the family ever has any fond memory of him? Ever???

I won't mind the slow pace if clarifications like these are given in each episode... Varna it's very boring one day to a good episode the other day.

The scene is set for the hulk to know about his daughter par uske baad Kya. Ye hulk se Ravan ban jayega

Pakhi was and will always be selfish, today she wants to express since Virat is happy as his wish is fulfilled. Agar Woh room wala scene nahi hota toh I would have thought Pakhi has amnesia isilye people don’t talk about Jeeva being papi ka pati.

On a serious note and please guys don’t get me wrong par seriously. Is there any way where a complaint can be raised on an actress ka atrocious expression. I get the worry but not those idiotic expressions. Bhai Aur nahi dekha jayega. And the way I see it it’s more to come with her pathetic expression and sound once she knows about savi.

Shree, Perfect summary! Yes virat lived a miserable life. If not for Pakhi, he is unquestionable in his decisions.

Pakhi is the main issue right?! His marriage to pakhi! He used her once during surrogacy. How can he use her again for adoption. When will he let her move on? He is tying her to him more and more, for his own benefits. When will he stop doing it.

First he kept her home for his brother.

Then as surrogate, going against law and his wife.

Then again for his sons adoption so that he will be able to live.

So that’s where he confuses people. Why is he not letting her go? Will he give good answers?
