That's the whole point that she has no self respect,her character was questioned,she was blamed for all wrong reasons still she had a hope to return back.I mean why and what is her obsession with that house ? Ok I agree she was married n stayed in that house for a long time but that house is not hers now,Kavya is the daughter in law of that house so ideally she should be handed over the household chores of that house right and now don't say that Kavya is not interested in it and she didn't even tried to do so any work.I mean Anupama should avoid dong household chores of that house because she is not a part of that family anymore.She should speak up for herself and set her priorities right but no madam is always hopeful in returning back in that zoo and become their maid because that's what her self respect is all about.She has a habit to interfere in everyone's life and then play victim card when they give shut up call to her.

Exactly!! After they insulted her and assassinated her character SO terribly, she immediately said you never know I might have to come back...Like WHY would any normal person hope for that? Unless they have Stockholm Sydrome! Imagine someone kicks you out of their house after using the worst language against you and insulting you so badly, would you say ok I am leaving but you never know, I might have to come back....Any normal person would never want to go back there again. That means she only left because she was kicked out. All the character assassination, abuses etc. did nothing to her wish to be at Shah House. She's the walking talking definition of lack of self respect, among other things.
