Stoinis to Rashid Khan, SIX, Rashid Khan has sent this for six over deep square leg. Too predictable from Stoinis, another back of the hand slower ball and it's short on off, Rashid Khan shuffles across and smashes the pull

2 balls 11 runs!!

What a wonderful cameo from Rashid Khan. He took his team so close to the victory. That was an amazing innings from him.

Cheers..

Australia scrape home. They are still alive in this tournament. The off-cutter dug in on off, Rashid Khan loses his bottom-hand as he pulls and it's a four to deep backward square leg to end things

Raucous finish at Adelaide Oval, courtesy of Rashid Khan's dead-eye tonking. But the mood is subdued for both teams as they leave the field

What a chance lost for Afghanistan to create history in their first-ever T20I against Australia. It looked to be their game when Naib and Ibrahim Zadran were in that partnership. But then turned up Maxwell with a direct-hit from deep mid-wicket and then some ordinary batting in that over saw them totally slip up. But Rashid Khan kept the fight alive with a 23-ball 48 but he had too much to do in the end.

Deepak Tripathy: Oh Rashid! You are a genius! Sad he couldn't win it for Afghanistan.
