Pallavi and Sonali gave birth to babies at the same place and at the same time.

Gagan was born to Pallavi and Badal was born to Sonali.

Pallavi with the help of the nurse took Badal along with her and declared him as Gagan's twin.

In the end, probably while dying, Sonali will reveal to Pallavi that Nick was always hers. Nothing happened between them that night and Badal is her's and Mahesh's child.

Or if Pallavi is "mahaan", Badal will be shown as Sonik's child only (cringe).

Badal will cry and Pallavi will crack a dialog, "Tum Badal Pallavi Gulati the, ho, aur hamesha rahoge."

Barkha will realise Ishaan-Manna are for each other and will back off. Nikvi will get married, kids will be happy, KD-Teji will be emotional, and Nandy probably is redeemed.
