Not being an abuser is the bare minimum, you don't get a gold star for the bare minimum.
While I agree that people can and do see the error of their ways, and they make positive changes and improve themselves but that doesn't change the past, it won't undo things, and it certainly doesn't mean that they deserve forgiveness.
The bare minimum thing isn't even the issue. Say they do something exemplary (unlike Sajid who just participated in a reality show to mend his broken image), like they set up a charity for other victims and help thousands, that STILL doesn't mean they deserve forgiveness. Forgivness is something that is freely given by someone, it cannot be taken, no matter what the person does.
Having said that, not everyone deserves a second chance that too for the same mistake. So many women have come forward and shared their plight. This sorry excuse of a man ran out of second chances eons ago.
Even having him on a show like this is appalling.
