What i feel is that Gautam is very scared that he will go out of the show. And it seems like he need money for some thing and it involves his parents ...as in may be he needs money for them. For that reason....in a moment, he kept his and his family needs above housemates and took a horrible decision. Nobody knows about the condition/situation and this will not last as sirf one week rukne se kya hoga....mil jayega usko paisa jitna chahiye. This move will just turn both housemates and audience against him which will further be a red flag for his journey.

And what is worse is his defence of it....what is he saying ki maine bheek maanga but kisi ne diya nahi captaincy.....logo ne mere baarein mein nahi soacha toh main kyun soachun......yaar you have to earn things in the house....everybody is here to play for themselves. He can't expect people to give him captaincy because he was begging for it. His thought process is very illogical right now.
