If the idea is to get sympathy for Sumbul - it’s going to work. There was no reason to do that nonsense of getting someone to imitate her like that.
Fine she isn’t a strong player, has moments but otherwise is in the background. What’s going to change by humiliating her? She tries to play, but this is not her cup of tea - so they should just admit it was wrong casting.
Re Ankit - I get that mine is a minority opinion - but I do think he’s lazy and disinterested. This game is not just about tasks. It’s about establishing a presence for yourself in the narrative and playing khud se. This one follows Priyanka around, and in general is totally unable (and clearly unwilling) to separate his identity from hers.
It’s not what ankit thinks - it’s what Priyankit think (and that is essentially what Priyanka thinks). He allows her to interrupt him, change and complete his sentences. He allows her to take him away mid-conversation. Priyanka and others - whether successfully or not, have tried to make game moves. What move has Ankit ever made? Khud ki identity hain kahaan? If you’ve taken a job, make an effort to do the job you’re being paid for - whether you’re good at it or not is baad ki baat.
That said, I think it’s useless for them to bother with Ankit either. He’s made it abundantly clear that he isn’t going to play. It’s a wasted effort.
As much as I hold the opinion that the majority does here with regards to Ankit (that is if I haven't read the DDT's tide wrong lol), I will have to agree with your opinion too because it stands valid, esp in the points in bold. There have been instances in LF where he has expressed a different opinion than hers and asked her not to do or say certain things and she's listened and obliged. BB just doesn't show us those parts because that'll take away the grounds for them to bash this guy. Those instances may be far and few but this guy has put in effort and that's probably as far as he can go without them giving these guys opportunities in the form of tasks for personalities to come out strongly and dynamics to change. If he doesn't do much even after old school kind of tasks are given then I would hold it against him too. Right now, I think it's pointless and unfair to ask Sumbul and Ankit to change or alter their personalities to such an extent.
