I heard that feroze's side said they need the custody of the children since Aliza is not financially independent. So she and her family might not be rich enough to give the kind of life style Feroze is able to provide. From the pics i have seen of Aliza, she looks very small and meek from her physical appearance. So his family might have thought she isn't the kind of raise her voice but everyone has a breaking point and she had enough.

Don't know much about law but that is a weak argument since fathers are expected to provide for their children's maintenance post divorce or is the law a bit different in Pakistan? They haven't furnished any evidence of her mental instability in court yet I think did they?Compared to her, his grounds for seeking custody seems pretty weak. As per law, for children below a certain age, doesn't the custody always go to the mother?

Usually if the kids are too young then the custody goes to the mother but if she is mentally unstable then it's a different story and maybe that's why his lawyer said she is unstable. I don't think under any other circumstances the father will get their custody unless the mother willingly gives away the custody rights or she is too poor to provide basic necessities for the kids.
