Viraj is a powerful character who wields money and influence but is not a narcissist. Even poor people can be narcissists....it's not dependent on having power or money. It's about a craving for attention and stems from low self-esteem. Viraj ka issue so far is not self-esteem....it's cynicism, bitterness and trust issues.

Oh one other bit from the Bournvita date I forgot to mention....I liked how he walked her through self-diagnosing her own panic attack😆.....that was so smooth and well done without showing forced attitude or anything. He literally just pointed out her behavior and asked her how she would diagnose it if she saw someone else in this state😆....and solution bhi usse khud hi bulva li....while also simultaneously managing to calm her down😆.

Agar yeh Gul show hota toh pehle 10 minute ka slow motion and 10 page ke "I know everything" type dialogues hote from ML to self-praise before getting to the point😆. When the funny part is viraj actually Knows everything😆 unlike the faltu ke claims..he is like ok I do not need to brag. I liked their borunvita night out too once again how smartly viraj made her fall for his game again that she is indeed in danger and took her back in..I liked woh end bit of entering again with him giving her a disclaimer ke iske baad try na karna it was rather intresting to see in the sense that how sly viraj really is..he made her believe that she has a choice when in reality she didn't really but all that still not looking like he is forcing her into it and making decisions for her when in the same episode he is seen saying that kavya cannot take decisions the only one who can is me.. I liked the vibe of this trip and I agree I liked how he made her treat herself and calmed her down to open up enough and then went on comforting her to win her trust .. lol his I am not a rakshash ke itna bhi bura nahi ...like you really thought I will hit the kid😆 ok woh toh zyada ho gaya tha kavya ji..viraj kaisa bhi ruthless hi woh toh maine bhi expect nahi kia tha.. wohi toh the understanding side of viraj came thru beautifully that below all that is a human who can empathize too..I really really liked it too with how easy it was and how comforting..for a sec there really it was not about the whole thing for him and genuine human to human courtesy tha. Insaniyat dikhi.

The other bits i liked was the way he just closes when his nom shows uo and was like duniya ki gandagi saaf karte hain and inke saamne nahi discuss kar sakte along those lines and told her to leave business on him and not interfare..and lol that it is in my blood bit hahah we need gifs for that..baaki his trust issues become more and more apparent..and i am liking how they are so far showing parent issues too .they arw very obviously there but he doesn't make himself a sorry figure and bade ache se deals with them atleast in front of others like how he aaram se inserted there ke main luck pe believe nahi karta when kavya started talking about her mother. And then again woh iss sabke neeche ka viraj the son kinda peeping who doesn't have that luxury and have such strained relationship that's to his mom ne jo bhi kia. His trust esp in family is what stands out .

Baaki i agree about the generalizing of terminology to the point that it starts losing the exact meaning and being thrown aise hi and the whole internet slang cahnging entire way of using terms

This is a very Good one and it is always a Joy seeing hims peak so passionately about his projects and how in depth he actually studies his characters and plays them.. like how he corrected the lady ke nahi ANGER nahi hai viraj has violence and that there is a Violnce yous ee in hsi eyes not anger.. difference there so generalize as anger nahi it is Violence in hsi eyes and not anger.. and i liekd ke he called out the story ayahan bhi ke haan bhai novel ki hai wohi aise hote hain brooding Hero and phir ladki aake sudharne ki kosish kare etc.. but it is the shades and the oppurtunity to go all out that he took as usko yeh karna hi karna tha har haal main.. caz the anti hero is the hero aas it is from hsi POVand people will cheer for him eventually .. Seedhe reasons no faltu ka fake bakwaas chadhaooign things and being that yahan bhi jahan laga ke it won;t work toh discuss karke improvise akr lia for character .

baaki lol Tv walon ki baja di smoothly phir ae but also went i am already doign tv so who said am not with jhalak but fictions pace bhi 100% karega but for limited time caz he woudl rtather play more roles then stagnating.. and then ofcourse his quick defence of adi there has my heart.. ke adi was this and that but not ram not a deadbody male lead😆😆

baaki him trolling the TV and his traumas from imlie land such hilariosu stuff 😆BHAI MAZA AA GAYA.. But i loved the way he talked about the shades the difference and all the passsion comes through so when he sys he creates a universe we can see that.. enjoy

Finally finished this IV.....such a nice one indeed👏. I think it will go in probably among my fav. IVs of his.....cuz he gave all the answers/explanations with a lot of tassalli and there is a sense of satisfaction in him right now too....woh dikhta hai on his face. It's a shift from the last few epis where mention of TV or Imlie was kinda irritating him in some ways😆....can't even blame him😆.

Now even when he talks about Imlie or Adi (notably without actually taking either names😆), he is explaining from a calmer place about what the show was, what the work was.

So many good answers to pick from but I think the most defining part of the IV was in the end when he talks about the psychology of disrupting the medium....that explains so much about why he took up a character like Adi and what he managed to do with it. It also explains how he is being able to play around with a character like Viraj even with the full awareness that otherwise it's a cliched dark fantasy novel plot😆. It is quite interesting to see his thoughts about the choices he makes as an actor about what to play and how to play it. He clearly loves to play in grey spaces and the challenge of making the audience root for a character who may do wrong things or make mistakes....the way he explained what all goes into building that graph was another nice bit.

I always feel we get insight from time to time about GM's working style and how the work comes out really well when he's allowed to bring his inputs without imposing something disjointed on him....even here he mentioned in between that if he feels something is going off track for his character, he discusses it with the writers to tweak it....so he brings that level of deep involvement to whatever he does and yet again it becomes clear where things went south with Imlie....lol

Anyways, as you said, I liked how he explained again that Adi was a controversial character who was a good person but made mistakes....and that jazbaa that if he comes back to TV, it will be to do something disruptive 😆....Waise toh Adi has managed to disrupt ITV for good since then given how many cheap wannabe copies spouted after that - all flop😆....so GM ne pehle hi disrupt kar diya hai ITV...lol aage agla disruption toh time will tell😆. For now, it's good to see him excited about the chance to play around with his craft with the opportunities coming his way.

Yes it is nice to see GM reaching his closure and making peace with it and being able to talk about his craft with such joy ..though I felt here he went and talked about it in detail as he was explaining his point but it is still nice to see his thought process amd him having that satisfaction and that tassalli and sukoon and fondness for the character he played.. yesbeven I was amused ke naam lene ki zaroorat hi nahi hai sabko pata haii .why give them itna sa bhi footage to them.. it is always so cool to hear him talk about his characters the way he sees them and creates that graph..honestly itna toh ab about films bhi nahi sunane ko milta no actor actually wants to talk about the craft the mehnat they out in acting ir getting an emotion right. Sabko superficial hi baatein bolna hai agar galti se baat karein bhi ke body bana li yeh kar lia woh kar lia. And because I always find it so intresting mujhe extra maza aata hai GM ke IV's sunane main due to this..the way he gives you the insights ..and yes I noticed that immediately too ke the part about talking it out and having that room to ammend and improvise if it is out of character.. just that much matters where the makers are willing tocome to a mutual decision and listen .again how many actors will even try that these days to discuss ke they are not convinced.. literally 0. Going by the quality of work we see these days.. and yes his whole intrest in greys is so fun caz he doesn't just do it he goes all out to bring out every grey and create a debate around the matter and wohi toh acha actor karta hai..create that discussion around it..makes people take notice.. rahi baat disruption ki toh durr kyin jaayein aaj kal jahan dekho sabko adi ka tag chahiye fiction non fiction social media har koi khud ko adi adi kehlane main busy hai and har channel has started their own versions of adi work karein na karein but because adi was and is and will be talk of the town for years to come sabko wohi akrna hai and ab toh itna disrupt ho chuka hai ke jahan nahi bhi hota kuch bhi zimilar wahan bhi people insist ke adi se similar mile kuch even of they pretend to hate him..baat wohi hai adi cannot be ignored BENCHmARk created and Disruption made..isse pehle this happened with IB jab sabne apne sasate versions banane start kiye in terms of characters production filming costumes and then came adi..imlie legit broke the clutter of wannabee shivikas and hunse better kaun jaane saala kya kya sasti copy dekhi hai humne and ab adi ki dekh rahe hain..may he continue disrupting the mediums aise hi..🧿❤️
