I don’t agree about social mobility, there’s official government data showing Indians to be the highest average earners out of all ethnicities in the UK. If I remember correctly, Indians are right near the top in the US too. If you mean desis as a whole, then sure.

American salaries are incomparable on a global stage right now. Much more lucrative to be a doctor, nurse, engineer, IT specialist etc in US than almost anywhere in the world. The salaries are more than double what Europe pays. If only the PTO wasn’t so damn shitty.

Indians being at the top in UK does not say much... when the top ain't high. In the US, random Indians have made a few million bucks before they even turn 30. The hundreds of millions of dollars in netbworth is generally mostly possible in the usa, barring some exceptions in UK and europe.

I truly believe that he knows what he is doing or suggesting..yes he knifed Boris..but that is politics!

I think it was the whole non-dom tax saga that bought him down more than partygate tbh. Plus what’s a veggie non drinker supposed to do at a British party anyway?😆Love seeing how prophetic the guy was when it came to numbers and the economy, it makes even the racists wish they voted for him instead.

Which was basically Boris knifing him or retaliating ..haha yes it indeed is..I’m curious to see what and how it evolves..if Tories don’t act fast and the unrest begins..who knows if Labour succeeds in its chant for immediate general election! They need a unity candidate like tomorrow..not in a week..currently the whole thing is like a game of rapid chess..

Your post makes no sense lol. Your point was on social mobility. Which I already disproved, because Indians wouldn’t otherwise be one of the highest earners. Everything is relative. You’re talking about earning potential in absolute terms, which has absolutely nothing to do with social mobility.

I guess we’ll see who has the last laugh eh? The general election will be imminent if the next leader fails to unite the party, but surely no-one can f up as badly as Liz and Kwasi? Hunt as a Chancellor should stay I reckon. Plus he backed Rishi, no?

actually you disproved nothing because you missed the big picture... by a mile.😉 With better comprehension, one could have easily inferred that my post was on upward mobility relative to the US.😉 Also, for those of us in America, upward mobility primarily refers to economic mobility. All that useless social mobility business is primarily the nonsense the brits have. Not for americans the royal circus. Amerians define it as economic mobility😆
