My take is a tad convoluted.

He knows he is slimy and has made a mess of things. He knows the reason Sai left him. But cannot agree to it, confront it, or accept it. So he calls her Patralekha now in a way to maintain a balance from answering his own conscience; desperately trying to distance the past and present versions of his friend/wife. Sai calls her that because she has formally distanced herself from Pakhi who had destroyed her life. Patralekha is just the mother of her client.

In short, Virat's Patralekha is just a lie. It will break and he will begin calling her Pakhi. After Savi's truth reveal if Sai softens even a bit, Virat will be back to calling her Pakhi because it will mean getting back on track to previous equations that he never wanted to let go off.

That's my take.

Then why he married pakhi by marrying pakhi his perfect image is destroyed. He married his brother's widow and culprit of his dead wife. By marrying pakhi he proved that whatever sai said about their affair is true and indirectly he proved her and samrat right

Virat's Perfect Image adopted the facade and excuse of Playing the heart broken husband who suffered with the death of his wife. That was suitable to his image. He would mourn Sai (because his real flawed self was hurt and in anguish at being rejected for Sai disregarded his ownership of her), and get sympathized with by all. Patralekha will be by the side without expecting much. Whatever he gave, she would take it as a blessing. Because she knows her truth and in her POV, Virat is in deep pain. So she will know her place and act as per what he wanted. Even if they were to get physical someday, she will know not to expect that level of devotion that he gave Sai. So this situation was in a way suitable.

So look at the equation like this:

Sai died = He lost her = acceptable to His image.

(He could mourn her and play holier than thou image)

Sai didn't Die = She willingly didn't return = unacceptable to his image

(this means that Sai disregarded his ownership of her. She also walked over all the efforts he made for her. The efforts are not enough for audience or Sai but he definitely did put efforts that he didn't do for anyone else. He is a twisted soul; so whatever he did was twisted too)

Therefore him playing the heart broken husband at his wife's death is in vain. Sai didn't willingly return. She rejected him. She chose to live without him. He doesn't know she was waiting for him of course. From His POV, Virat Chavan became replaceable for Sai. Someone else tool his place and got what he wanted - a child with Sai and hence a permanent bond to Sai. Honestly speaking his Perfect Image Self would have preferred her dead.

Savi is Virat's victory because her existence gives him a permanently chain to tie Sai to himself. Virat frankly has a delusion that he is the Sun that Sai should revolve around. Unfortunately for him, Sai has a spine and a conscience.

First of all Virat doesn't hate Savi despicable believing that Sai moved on. He in fact interacts lovingly with the child. Because Savi is Sai's. His trigger as you said is Jagtap. And this is not because Jagtap killed Kamal sir Or Samrat. Those are reasons, yes, but Virat's hatred fro Jagtap runs much deeper. Jagtap is the only person other than himself who is madly obsessed with Sai. Virat maintains an image and has control over his actions. He also made sure to never hurt Sai's dignity the way Jagtap did. With his Perfect Image syndrome, he took the saviour role.

But apart from that both are similarly obsessed towards Sai. Both want to possess her and want that her world revolves around themselves. Jagtap killed and committed crimes to get Sai. Virat emotionally manipulated and frequently gaslighted Sai to keep her dependent on him.

Hence something inside Virat is twisted enough to consider Jagtap his competition. He is vike enough to imagine Sai accepting Jagtap because he has the capacity to do it; to accept a criminal's apology and move on. But he doesn't want Sai to do it. Because..... Sai moving on means - Virat is Replaceable in her life.

This is something he cannot digest. And this comes to his mind whenever he sees Jagtap. Had it been any other man, Virat probably won't react in this volatile manner. He wil stew furiously and cry foul and manipulate. But Jagtap symbolizes the similar obsession his flawed self shares to Sai. This is his trigger. His perfect image is in danger. Because despite all his actions and drama, he too is similar to Jagtap in one major thing: None of them have ever been able to move on from Sai.

He definitely feels a lot. Patralekha Or Pakhi is the most suitable candidate for him to maintain his Perfect Image Self. She will take what he gives, she will toe the line. He sets. He can easily gaslight her too by reminding her of her actions that snatched Sai if she tries to force him into anything. She is too terrified to lose him. He knows she loves him. She even confessed. But what does he say? He says you shouldn't have said it and causally goes on with life.

Patralekha loved his Perfect Image Self. Her love in a way justifies his holier than thou attitude. Which is why he keeps her with him. But does he solidly love her?

Well I do not know about that but what I can say is that if there is one person Virat loves - it is himself.

Another one of the online audience of Ghum here! Been a silent reader here since quite some time too, just wanted to post some of my thoughts here.

The way Sai left today after seeing V P and Vinu today, how unbothered she was, it clearly shows that she has completely moved on from V, but still I highly doubt that she'll fall for a new ML
Regardless, she does atleast deserve a friend with whom she can spend time and leave all the worries behind. I feel that Ajinkya's character, if brought back, can be that friend!
As Sai has left the orphanage job, and she intends to stay here until Vinu gets alright, she can take up a job in a hospital and maybe cross paths with Dr. Ajinkya there. The long lost friendship between them revives, he and Savi too can have a great bond between them.. It would be a treat to watch if Virat invites Savi to go to "amusement park" one day, and she says "Sorry police uncle! Aaj mai or Aai or Ajinkya uncle ghumne jaane wale hai"
Just imagining the expressions on V's face when he hears Ajinkya's name and when he realises that the kid likes Ajinkya more than him🤣

Pleaseee Bappa, Ajinkya nhi toh kisi or ko hi show me laado, temporary hi sahi, atleast V ko realise toh ho ki usne kya khoya hai

I might sound bitter but sairat were actually dead the day Sai was presumed dead with Vinayak. There was one particular shot in front of fire on that accident area where one side Sai was crying and another Virat, there emotions were burned on that day. The only thing as of now makes them connected from is the fire burning inside their heart, the fire of ego, pain, betrayal, broken promises and distrust.

Writers have long way to go to fix sairat but before that Sai & Virat needs to understand each other's as an individual without any baggage I feel.

P is nasty... but requiscizes when she realizes Sai can break Vinu ka adamancy. Allows her against everyone's wishes.

Sai manages to break through to Vinu and he eventually opens the door.

Sai walks off with her head held high and only Ninad thanks her with all honesty. V is missing.

The episode gist is only this much. Characters are revealing.

Ninad - Ash are interesting. He is neutral and Ash is slowly softening. Is somewhere in guilt. I had mentioned few days back that Ninad has a very militaristic attitude. Make good with whatever is the situation at the moment without thinking of the emotional aspect and the past. Very clear cut and clinical in that sense. They are showcasing it here and there. He appreciated Sai's efforts, was mildly hurt when she didn't complete the Baba and called him Sir. But left it at that. Ash has understood Sai is never coming back.

I just wish Sai doesn't melt quickly and keeps calling her Ma'am for some time.

BK is angry and wants to keep the reins with her. She is surprised to hear Sai saying that she has no plans to even stay in Nagpur. Doesn't believe her then but does look like getting that Sai wont budge when Sai calls Ninad 'Sir'. We know BK and we know she would be adamant about her lineage. It would be interesting to see how she reacts when Saavi ka truth is known. The same BK who doesn't want Sai in the house, will force her.. if not the house, in Nagpur.

Shivani is melting... but she is anyway a kacchha nimbu so her opinion doesn't matter.

P is a revelation to some degree. If not mental illness, she knows something about this Vinu. She knows Sai has the capability to convince Vinu which she herself doesn't have. She knows she has to keep this Vinu and maintain her image of a good mother if she has to stay in this house and V's life and she knows that by keeping Vinu on priority, V will pander to her and ignore Sai.

P is manipulative and sly and unhealthily obsessed with this child, even if it was to stay near to V. In all probability it points to the fact that she knows this is the original Vinu. She might have known it right from the start and maybe had planned for a reveal in later years, but with Sai's arrival she will guard that secret like anything.

This hunch might get cleared if there is an orphanage visit in the kidnapping track and P is also present there.

Sai is sweet ... very caring to the child. I would have loved if she had said that I am orphan too. It would have helped in forming the bond. It would have pinched where it should. And If Vinu had hugged Sai after coming out, it would have been poetic. Still better than nothing. It is his Aai who manages to convince him.

All through out the conversation, Sai keeps looking at V-P in between and they present a very domestic picture. Parents together worried for their kid. Sai has that image in her mind and hence walks off without even waiting for an acknowledgement for her efforts. That look she has is, she has accepted V-P relationship as real and aptly pointed by Msin, SaiRat relationship is over. My shipper heart broke into pieces seeing that.

Vinu is confused, angry and upset. But even he is quite clear in his understanding. He gives higher weightage to V's love for him but not to P. Her love for him is equated as Sai's love for Saavi. not more like V has. He comes out but is aloof and by spoilers we know that he is not totally convinced of Sai's words. Will go looking for his real parents. 👍🏼. Its a temporary truce. But the hold Sai has over him, will entangle her more. She is not going away... ever!!!

V... kya bolu iss aadmi ke liye!!!

I didn't watch yesterday, caught some clips late at night. His arrogance and his ego is as usual overpowering him. He feels like owns Sai and that she should do his bidding. When she doesn't he goes against and to the extreme. V looks impressed with how Sai is dealing with Vinu but the overwhelming relief at getting Vinu out makes him forget about Sai. Doesn't even realize that she left. Maybe will happen tomm.

V is mildly stunned when Sai calls herself his and P's friend. 🤣. Even though it is to convince Vinu. That smirk was laughable. Kya bolegi phir vo gadhe? Ki tumhare Baba ki pehli biwi hun jise unhone abhi tak divorce nahi diya?

Dumbass is terribly slow. He is pacifying P when she breaks down and Sai notices it. It was once again for her to see how V has moved on. It is not the exact truth but yes... as parents, they are together.

The episode is interesting on few pointers.

It is Vinu and by extension P, who will make Sai stay back in Nagpur. Everyone including P, V and BK have seen the effect Sai has on Vinu. If he insists, they wont refuse.. Promo no 2 will happen.

BK who has a premonition might herself execute it when Saavi ka paternity is revealed.

The teams are slowly shifting.

P if indeed she has a hand in Vinu ka adoption will go crazy and her behaviour will keep flipping one moment to another.

V will be massively upset at knowing about Saavi but depends on how the truth is revealed. It doesn't look like Sai will disclose easily after the domesticity witnessed by her once again. It might come out in a moment of high stress.
