News regarding the second match of today-- Zim vs Ire

According to ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup 2022 Playing Conditions (13.7.3.2) - "In circumstances where back-to-back matches are played at the same venue, there shall be a minimum 30-minute break between matches."

18:15 Local Time, 07:15 GMT, 12:45 IST: The toss, supposed to take place at 18:30, will not go on as per schedule as the first game (West Indies vs Scotland) got delayed due to rain. 13 overs remain in that match and it's gone slightly murky as well in Hobart. Fingers crossed for an uninterrupted game.

Time for the toss. Samuel Badree describes the weather as "frigid". Ireland win the toss and will bowl. "It looks a pretty good wicket," Andy Balbirnie says. "We had a good look at what went on in the first innings. It's a big boundary here and we're aware of that. It could well come down to run-rate so every run out there counts."

Craig Ervine says Zimbabwe are happy to bat first. "It has been a little bit difficult to chase down scores. It's one thing just getting here but it's another playing good cricket and showing people we belong here at the World Cup. Our main goal is to get to the Super 12s. Sikandar Raza has been in exceptional form and Blessing Muzarabani is making his comeback after injury."
