India and South Africa prep up for their last international encounter before the T20 World Cup begins. For South Africa, there are crucial World Super League points at stake. Ishan Kishan has found a new gear and Shreyas Iyer found form as well. South Africa's top order found runs too but their bowlers haven't hit their straps as well as they would have liked. Can they turn it around? We'll find out today. Stay tuned for the toss in a bit.

Sanju Samson: (On his new role) I have been practising for different roles. I've put in time in the last two years in different teams and to adapt to roles. I've been instructed to take up the finisher's role in the past year. I've been learning from players who've done it before and am bringing it to my game. After the first game, we had a positive meeting despite the result. The management were supportive and talked to us about how special we are and instilled confidence.

Devarajan: "Australia also has a very good bench strength."

Shakil Ahmad: "At least eight frontline Indian players are not participating in this on going Ind-SA odi series, and still India is winning comprehensively. This shows how strong Indian bench strength is. I think India and Eng. are the teams who have much strong bench strength in comparison of other world class teams."

The toss has been delayed due to a wet outfield.

The Shikhar Dhawan led side despite missing out on plenty of big names has shown the stomach for a fight. They were pipped at the post in the first ODI and then romped home in a canter in the second one. Samson's ferocity, Iyer's tenacity and Kishan's audacity have been the newsworthy items of the series so far. The depth in Indian cricket is scary but it is high time it scares off opponents in big games on the big stages. The lines have been drawn. Let the battle begin as winner takes it all! Toss and sheets in a while.

Mukesh: "The problem with such bench strength is that team management and selectors can always be blamed for wrong team selection

Pitch report: It looks really good. The pitch has been under covers, there might be a bit tackiness. The grass holds the pitch together. Team winning the toss should elect to bowl first, because of the dimensions of the ground, reckons Ajit Agarkar.

The inspection will be in half an hour. Some players are warming up on the field. The outfield is being dried with a super sopper.

Yuvraj Singh: "Really don't see a full match happening. It was raining full day on Sat and Sun and there was no sun yesterday. Even today, it's been partly cloudy. It's gonna take a lot of time for the ground to dry."

Ahmad Reshad: "I guess the team who play more pacer than spinner will win the match today as the boundaries are smallest then the previous venues this series."
