A WEEK LATER: MUMBAI:
Angad & Kripa were thrown into each others company more & more thanks to Kripas dear friends who invited the Khannas to all the lunches, dinners, meeting as much as possible. Although Angad enjoyed it, Kripa dreaded it. She was forced to keep up the pretext that she was enjoying it thanks to the manners she was brought up in. It just made her past come alive which was a horrible night mare she hadnt forgotten in the past 4years & may b she never would after all Zaib K or Angad Khanna was her 1st & only love.
Now Angad Khanna was sitting in Sanjivenis caf?aiting 4 Ridz. He had wanted to meet her alone & talk to her abt something imp. Angad had seen Arman & Ridz cooing like a couple various times when they were alone. Like when Ridz would go in the kitchen to get something Arman would follow her & both would b back after a long time. Angad had seen them kiss & hug in more than a friendly manner. Which made him feel more worried for Kripa. He felt like Arman was taking profit of innocence of the 2 girls. & Angad decided it was his duty to warn the 2 girls. He was here to talk to Ridz abt Arman while Ridz thought that he was here to talk abt some1 else.
Ridz came & sat next to him after the initial greetings.
R: so Angad what did u want to talk to me abt???
A: u know its kind of strange that I am talking to u abt this in spite of the fact that v have know each other for nearly a month only but it is imp.
R: ok go on
A: u know I have seen u & Arman cooing like a couple many times I have been with u guys.
R: (getting confused by the sec) so what is that to u????
A: its not right
R: (sarcastically) & y is that???
A: well he has been hanging with u as well as Kripa
R: Angad Arman has been like this all his life v have know each other since the day v were born
A: (thinking this girl is mad) u r ok with him flirting with any girl????
R: no I dont allow it he is not serious abt any1 except me
A: did he tell u that
R: (looking at her engagement ring) yes he did.
A: he has been lie 2 u
R: (getting angry at Arman) WHAT R U SAYING??
A: yes has been flirting with u & Kripa. I think so he is double dating u & Kripa.
Listening to this Ridz burst into a no. of giggles. Every1in the room turned towards them. Still Ridz couldnt control her laughter. Angad was getting embarrassed as every1 in the room was looking at them. At the same time he was feeling sorry for Ridz as he thought it was her way to take in the shock a few of her friends come & try to cool her down. Ridz tells them what Angad just told her & even they start laughing like crazy. Angad thinks that he is between stupid people & tries to get up but Ridz holds his hand & makes him sit down.
R: (still giggling) sorry. (Turns towards her friends) u guys go I will handle this but dont tell Arman he will have a fit.
A: what to not tell him.
R: nothing lets start from the start Angad.
A: which is???
R: (Lifts her left hand in the air fro Angad to see a ring) I am engaged to Arman for abt a 1 year now. V got engaged when Sujal Jiju & di got married.
A: & Kripa knows abt it???
R: she actually announced the engagement in front of every1
A: ok even then she is close to Arman
R: even then as she considers him her big brother who she can torture & fight with
A: (feeling like a complete fool) ok
R: so now u will understand y I dont have a problem with Arman & Kripas presumed relationship
A: yes completely I am feeling like a fool
R: the look from ur face tells me that.
A: so do u want to tell me something
R: yes I wanted to ask u what u feel abt Kripa.
This was a question Angad never expected any1 to ask him as he didnt have the ans to it himself. But he indeed tried to cover it up
A: nothing. She is a good person but I am afraid of her angry which is something
R: many r afraid of her I know the people in her office r. But what I wanted to ask u was do u love her????
Angad looked up at her as if she had gone crazy. Love was a thing he never cared or even thought abt then how could he fall in love. Love was for fools & he wasnt 1. True he had been thinking abt Kripa a lot may b every sec of his time since he had met her but that was infatuation may b even attraction he was not in love that was full & final
A: no I am not
R: (with a small smile) ok. Then y do u keep taking glances at her???
A: she is pretty good to look at
R: ok. Then y do feel so concerned abt her happiness & dont lie that u dont otherwise u wouldnt b here to ask me to keep my guard.
A: if that was so I would have gone to Kripa not u
R: if u would have gone to her she would have thrown u out of the her cabin without a second thought I know her anger & I am pretty much sure that u do to
A: yes I do
R: so tell me honestly do u love her????
A: I dont Know I havent ever been in love before
R: ok lets play a game
A: now????
R: ya just close urs eyes & think abt love
Angad does as he is told to do after a few sec a smile comes on his face.
R: open ur eyes. (He did as he was told) now look into my eyes
A: r u trying to hypnotize me???
R: no I am trying to get the truth out of u now tell me whose face did u see with ur eyes closed
A: how did u know I saw some1s face??? I didnt see any1
R: well then y were u smiling???? Dont tell me that u r dumb enough to smile for anything
A: ok I saw Kripas face happy
R: very this states that u like her a lot
A: but she doesnt
R: who told u that
A: well she acts like it avoids me all the time. Still tries to refer to me as Mr. Khanna but doesnt do it becoz of Arman
R: she is worst with many people but if u really do like her & u promise me that u will never ever hurt her I can help u win her heart.
A: I am not sure that I have reached that stage
R: (Raises her eyebrow) which stage???
A: I am Angad Khanna I have the ability to win girls with a smile I dont think so I will b needing ur help.
R: ok but let me warn u Kripa is not any girl & best of luck.
A: thanks.
Saying so Angad leaves. Ridz has an evil smirk on her face.
R: Angad Khanna u r going to come begging to me to help u win over Kripa very very soon.
