Baburao is good only due to one liners. Also, he has some emotional scenes. Teja and Bajaj are pure fun and sheer comedy. Not a single serious or emotional moment.

Andaz Apna Apna is funnier

AAA has zero dull moments and can be watched on repeat mode cover to cover without skipping any scenes while in HP some of the scenes in the climax and also in the beginning involving Tabu and the bank manager can tend to become a bit boring after multiple watches.

So yes AAA wins!

Had way more FCs dedicated to it online and its each character and moment is funny. Pure fun. No serious moment.

The ones who bash it are mostly haters of its main leads and choose other films out of mostly sheer spite for its leads and the sheer jealousy at long running popularity and love AAA gets and how it organically became a much loved classic despite its flop, zero marketing or PR and its own cast also rarely talking about it nor getting along with each other irl.

yes the lead cast has not even celebrated its 25th year silver jubilee which shocked me, if it would be Srk's movie he would have made a very very big deal about it as well as usual, not just on the silver jubilee, but possibly at each given opportunity every year 😆

There is EVEN A REAL LIFE CAFE IN AAA's name, and online as well where the dishes are at the name of its characters..NEVER HAPPENED with any film before

Anyways, there is a reason AAA is the BIGGEST CULT CLASSIC COMEDY EVER in the history of Hindi Cinema.

Hera Pheri is a great movie as well, but AAA is altogether on a different level of popularity and is celebrated like no other comedy movie.
