But m surprised, BARc rating m it's on 45-52 rank but online TRP m it's been doing well ( exception last week)

The show was about an estranged couple rediscovering love. They supposedly hated each other. And hence for the romantic feelings to resurface, the misunderstandings should have been cleared first. But, nothing like that happened.

Infact, Sonali is living with them and Nick cares for her. If it is an act to expose her, the track is palatable. And Pallavi suddenly realising Sonali is playing games is also not organic. Makers should have shown Pallavi realising Nick's faithfulness and not leave it to viewers' assumptions.

Moreover, Nikvi's scenes are delightful but still senseless to some extent. They are behaving as if nothing ever went wrong between them, especially when misunderstandings are not yet cleared. Then the very next moment they argue or develop more misunderstandings.

Besides, each kid is psychologically affected in some way due to Nikvi's separation. But that part wasn't handled well. Harsh is totally forgotten after the house auction track.

Lastly, I expected more from this show as IKNMP was quite good. Plus, it is a finite sony show. But, story is incoherent and lacks a natural flow. I am ok with a few illogical scenes but too many inconsistencies don't work for me.

@green Yes you are somewhat right somewhat, I agree to you....though it looks good of their chemistry ❤️❤️❤️❤️ they are behaving as if nothing had been wrong between them..they needs to clear the Sonali wali MU's first and then get ahead for marriage...cos the biggest MU is not yet cleared and if its not cleared it will take NikVi back to square one I.e seperation...

I know Nick doesn't care for Sonali with wrong intentions. But Nick caring for her, whatever may be the reason, and unable to look through her conniving moves, makes him look dumb.

Seriously, most of the MLs in Hindi shows are dumb and fall into the vamp's trap. Nick is no different and the show is no different. Sigh!

You're absolutely right. There was so much scope for this show to be a lot more logical and better than it is now.

These romantic feelings definitely feel a little out of place considering that their misunderstandings have not even been addressed properly, leave alone them being cleared. It is not even that they have mutually decided to let bygones by bygones and give their relationship a brand new lease of life. It makes absolutely no sense that Pallavi is being more vocal about her feelings because firstly, she is the one that's deeply haunted by the past. She absolutely hated Nikhil for cheating her and breaking her trust. But now she's defending and trying to protect him like nothing's happened between them.

Even if they've come together for Nikhil's mother, they should've ideally used it as an opportunity to work on helping their kids. But no, they're themselves behaving like teenagers who just fell in love. It is not organic for 40-45 year old parents to ignore their kids' challenges.

Current projection of NikVi is not that of ideal parents but of parent pleasing children. They're putting up a facade for Dadi and have almost forgotten to deal with their own kids. For the kind of mother that Pallavi was shown as, she should ideally be dealing with Manna-Ishaan-Barkha, Gagan's job and accident, and also Badal finding out about Sonali. She chose to just ignore everything.

IKNMP was a good show- despite its flaws, it never felt extremely out of place. They were parents who understood what their kids were going through and always came together to solve problems. Their misunderstandings were cleared much before they chose to stay together, so any gesture or moment felt genuine.

Rajashree and Cezanne are such wonderful actors with a sizzling chemistry, yet they're being underutilized. These few scenes were definitely a treat for us fans to watch, but we're here first for the story. They cannot dilly dally around like this and leave the rest up to our imagination. If there's an imminent separation, they should work on the characters before getting them back together and ending the show.

Yeah NikVi moments are delight to watch but it wd hv made sense when this romance shd hv started after MUs were cleared.

I mean how will it make a difference now and when MUs will be cleared and u guys will be reunited. U guys r already acting as evrything is normal

Nobody including Pallavi asked Nik why he went to faridabad wid Sonali when in reality neither sonali is his colleague or subordinate.

Sonali said mje movies ka bht shauq h . Badal instead of asking maasi how did u manage it at mahilawaas, he was asking her to take some subscription.

Other day, chachi said Sonali modelling krr rhi thi..Manna/ badal should Hv immediately investigated this matter as they did while SMC search operation was on.

Teji bdy party pe jis tarah se sonali ka nam samne aya, these kids should Hv indulged in thorough investigation, but no!

Why didn't badal ask ki Y our parents hate u Massi when he can see how concerned is Nik about her.

Since writers and makers have decided that logic can be compromised in the name of "creative liberty", I wouldn't be surprised if we get a "mujhe koi farak nahi padta" track out of nowhere.

Kids would be mute spectators, Dadi will be in coma, Teji would be helpless, and Nandy would have a victorious smile, while audience are forced to watch Nick-Sonali & Ranveer-Pallavi. I don't know when and how the makers will introduce this cringe, but highly likely. And soon Ranveer will join hands or be used by Nandy-Sonali.
