Even DP who isn’t a star kid didn’t invite Sr AB for Piku successful party. She ignored him. Nothing happened to her. But Alia who’s far more privileged and has all powerful people behind her is some helpless actress who can’t say no.

It's the societal mindset. What does it even have to do with the actors in these cases? These big corporates are hiring these people and paying them. Do you really think either side is going to argue and demand different actors? That makes no sense. They would come for 3 hours and film their ad, make crores, and go home.

Why do these big corporates want these kind of pairings? Because Indian society rewards exactly this. A few people moaning online has no impact whatsoever.

Actors have more power in the films they produce but corporate ads? Who even wastes their time even thinking about it? They all do the worst ads for the worst products. Who they are paired opposite is the something that probably never crosses their mind.

Funny thing is how Aamir was shown in non romantic manner in initial ads of Phone pe and AU Bank but now he is shown as BF and husband of Alia and Kiara.

Aamir was a cop in first Phone pe ad and a bank employee in AU Bank ad with Kiara initially.

They are not yet officially done as lead heroes nor bowed out the way Amitabh did after he got flak for shit like Nishabd or Cheeni Kum.

Aamir is a loser still trying to pass off as college kid with botox, wide eyed look and de aging onscreen. Atleast Amirabh was never as shameless to play college kid at 50 plus.

Kiara is NO way on same level as DP. She is not a big star like DP. She has just two legit hits like Kabir Singh and Shershah both of which are hero centric films.

Amitabh's era didn't have botox, fillers and hair implants and all the modern VFX technologies to extend his time as a lead actor. Nobody bows out willfully - he was forced to because the audience had enough of him.

As far as ads go, you need to realize corporate houses pick out their actors based on their own internal calculations and forecasts. They are trying to reach certain demographics and tap into certain markets. The unfortunate truth is that older Indian women are not a huge force in the market - their husbands make most of the household buying decisions. These ads are made to reach middle-aged men - they would identify with Aamir and lust after Kiara/Alia. These brands get what they need to aim for the market segment they are looking for.

I don't even like Aamir and don't want to see him anywhere let alone opposite Alia and Kiara but this is how market forces work. Do you really think he can stomp into a big corporation and demand casting changes for an ad? You think these actors are way more powerful than they actually are.

You can believe whatever you wish. DP as a newbie could refuse a movie with Salman. But established actress like Kaira and privileged with powerful people backing Alia can say not say no to Aamir.

Why will Aamir demand changes in an ad when he himself is like typical tharki uncle who imagines himself as college kid even at 50 and wants to show he is desirable husband material hunk for girls like Alia and Kiara even today?

DP refused as she had backing of SRK camp. Kiara is not adopted by any camp. Kiara is no way as powerful as DP nor had as many hits or iconic dad like DP. Or a launch like OSO or hits or being adopted by some superstar mentor in a camp.
