It seems to me that Arunita has taken the opportunity to go home for Durga Puja. She was only 7 hours away from Bangaon by road, and nothing else lined up for about 7 days i.e. till tomorrow. Plus while she has been off social media, Darshini haa been visiting garba alone.

In fact, I hope she took this opportunity and gone home. It has been several months. I think she last went home on her birthday in Jan.

Yes certainly hope she did. They have a concert tomorrow (4th) in Delhi and then one more on the 8th in Rajasthan.

And she will be out of the country starting late Oct./Nov..

Some of the high notes are really difficult for a female voice but she has done really well.

Full marks to Sahil (bass) and Paras (lead) for their guitar work.

Also, I hadn't realised till this concert that PD also provides back up vocals in this song, especially in the Bangla portions of Khamoshiyan and in Alvida.

Omg just amazing .. goosebumps galore, teary eyed!! Thank you so much for sharing such a high quality audio-video of one of Aru's favorite rendition. Just blown away. For me, I had never heard Khamoshiyan or Alvida until I heard Aru performing it in one of her tours. I instantly fell in love with the song and has been one of my top favorites since then. That is Aru's magic, she can make any song her own and for me I don't need to listen to anyone else after that! Just too good!!!

Her repertoire includes so many songs that are originally sung by male singers and yet she sounds as though they were written for her! And of course, nothing need be said about her renditions of Lata Mangeshkar or Shreya Ghoshal songs!

I remember you had mentioned after you attended the concert in the Bay Area I think, that hearing her live is 100 x better than IG or YT. And I experienced that first hand here in Bangalore.

Schedule for US Tour - seems east coast, WI and mid-West. Hope they are making it to the west coast.

I believe they are not going to west coast this time. I thought there was a Oct 22 Greenville, NC concert. That’s either cancelled or is a private event. I think this time around they may have less audience. I feel it’s not being advertised much. I think distributors are different this time. They have less number of shows too.

Thanks for the info! Will keep fingers crossed that they do make it to the west coast. You are right about the advertisement being hardly there. There is one main distributor Balaji who seems to have outsourced event planning and advt. to the local distributors.

It seems like, west coast Arudeep lovers will be missing out this time.

Again, pretty hectic in the last few shows, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston then Denver in three consecutive days (Nov 18, 19 and 20).

Not good. No rest for our singers.

Between 5th and 12th there is a big gap and no takers! I see that the Nov 18 Fort Lauderdale is a recently added event . They may add some last minute private events!

I doubt the organizers will let them have a 6-7 day break with no events. There is room to have an event on Nov 6 and / or Nov 11.
