I look at it more from the toxic masculinity aspect. Virat has been told so many times by CN folks that Sai is wild and needs to be tamed etc.

Virat was taught that he needed to be tough. Look at men he emulates.

In most cases when men are constantly told that they need to be tough in order to be a real man, husband or father they are usually left with a very fragile ego as in Virat's case.

To him there is no other way he can show he is a man than to be toxic.

Though he know he has failed Sai and her 2 babies he refuses to accept.

Virat is riding on his past guilt. This Vinu has resurrected a lot of guilt in him.

He was racing to stop Sai but in the process he was reliving the past. It was like he

was trying to stop her from 7 years ago.

See in KD too, there is hug and feeding scene. I think emon sees the hug not sure about feeding though. But there it was RK being vulnerable and feeling lonely and we know she is suffering from depression. He lets her hug him and assures her not to be sad and he will not leave her ever.

Emon MUs him that he has feelings for her.

But here, there is no mental illness angle, except for few episodes which there is a flip in her behavior.

Today's hug shows him that he is emotionally moving closer to her, till now they showed him emotionally aloof. that is a danger sign.

Vinu ka revelation, I'm not sure 5 Oct tak hoga ki nahi. But, the story, i think will start moving after the pandal.
