why is she over weight ? is it cause her mother is ?? does that mean its hereditary problem ?? but the Jayshree wasnt overweight and it was mentioned initially that Latika is over weight cause she loves eating sweets.... if that was the reason then does that mean she is over feeding her daughter too ?

Child obesity is a big issue, it hampers the growth of the child...here they are insensitively using it just to extend the narration......really pathetic......

In an early episode, Jayashri said that Latika was heavy even before birth. So, it's Latika's metabolism that keeps her heavy, no matter how little she eats, or how healthy her diet is.

Latika's family appreciated her ability to make sweet dishes, which even Abhimanyu couldn't resist. Remember that scene of him asking for the other half-lāḍū, and then a second lāḍū? I can't remember anyone saying that Latika ate too many sweets, or that she ate heavy meals, or at odd times. Latika had become lethargic and had high blood pressure because she hated exercise. She had the misconception that exercise was as useless as crash dieting because her goal was to lose weight. Abhimanyu told her not to worry about her weight, and exercise just to be fit and healthy.

I did not know that the Dhumal house and the Jahagirdar house Vakratuṇḍa are not constructed sets; they are actual houses occupied by local families, who have to move their belongings into another room every time a scene is shot in the living room, bedroom etc.

Kitchen scenes have to be shot at 4 pm when the families aren't using their kitchens.

Abhimanyu and Latika's bedroom, Ashutosh and Hema's bedroom, and Abhilasha's office are all just rearrangements of the same room.

Imagine having 50-60 people in your house every day, shooting until 10 pm, for 2 years!

First the show shoots its holiday celebration episodes, and a few weeks later, when the holiday occurs in real life and the family's grown children have come home, the show is shooting something else.

Did the "Dhumal house" family like having a "Latika + Abhimanyu" sign on their wall? How did they feel when Bāpū painted over it?

but after that they change abasaheb and introduced another female character and one other character started to vanish or change i left watching it.

don't know why they don't close such all show instead of dragging it and making it more boring

Appā's recollections of Abhimanyu are unintentionally comical because he always uses this blessing for a long life for someone who is dead.
