I have a different way to look at same Trust you mentioned. I see that some trust is still lingering which is making them hanging on to the hope. @boldblue statement of yours captures it. They cant come to terms with their moving on. They accept their respective children but not them moving on! Which is very paradoxical. Does having children mean moving on? Virat might love Savi just for being Sai's daughter and Sai might love Vinu for being Virat's son. But they cant get over the fact that the other had moved on..Pakhi and Jagtap respectively can aggravate their pain, but it could be anyother person there...still while they accept their respective kids they cant accept that the other had deep 'physical an emotional' relationship with another man/woman. I will not be surprised if Virat and Sai be a happy family if they know that the other person did not move on. They will accept the kids as is. Even Virat! He might think it is one time overture by Sai :D and will love Savi like his..(i know i have too many expectations on him). But Virat's love for the kids come from his love for Sai. sai's kids are his kids.

This is Coming from my personal experience. Marriage is deeply personal. You share things at intimate level. You make promises when you are intimate, when you are brushing your teeth, when you are saying bye while going to work...so many occasions. SaiRat might have had umpteen times where they would have professed their love...just see them as a normal marreid couple. They could have made promises to each other, professed their love in various ways....like tender moments on the godhbarai day or when they are in throes of passion. You cant get rid of those memories easily. Especially when they stuck in the past. Their memories are still fresh. You know what I mean? Sai has more reason to be cool about the fact that he moved on because Pakhi and Virat had a past, which gives some answers to her doubts. But Virat needs answers more. Remember when she confessed, he said that it touched him for life? He cant believe she can give that space to any other man....even if he had seen any other man instead of jaggy, he would feel the same hatred. So he will not stop asking questions to her. She said he will be her last love and it got ingrained in him. I cant see him living in peace without getting his answers.

Sai also heard him say to Pakhi that he was lucky to have Sai as his wife and that Pakhi had fallen in his eyes. Then obviously she would want to know why he has married her. Even though she appears tough on the outside, her memories with him will not accept that he could do something like this. She would seek answers...she cant cut off from him. They shared too much to ignore them..even if Pakhi is in the picture. Especially when they are still so much in love...still there is some trust on all the promises they must have made to each other, when only two of them were present.... I can understand Sai if tomorrow she will go soft on him...The woman in me doesnt want her to go to him if he had married Pakhi...but being in Sai's shoes I might understand him (That scares me!)

Now Virat will go back to Nagpur in anger.

Would Virat have gone back to Kankoli for Sai?

He would have! that is Rono for you. That is what I meant in my above post. He will not live in peace till he gets the answers. The story is ruined here by getting jagtap in the picture. It should be some random worthy guy in the place of Jaggy. Then you would see the same Virat. In KD, Rono freaks out when he sees her with some senior/doctor. Vankar spoiled it. Thats why Virat's passion is lost in his hatred towards Jagtap.

The Virat/Rono would also love Savi like his own kid...just because she is Sai's kid. That is what is being shown now between Virat and Savi. He adores her despite not being his blood. Could also be because he has some hope she is his...but it doesnt appear like that to me.
