Indian TVs show don't run on stories or characters, they run on TRPs, so all depends on the TRP if the patch up will happen quickly or it will be delayed. Patralekha should not die, she should live to see the the family of four becoming the Happy Family.

If Patralekha dies, the show will take a leap for sure. And Sai and Virat may reunite a day or two before the leap.
