The consensus is Diljit shines ! Anupama personally requests him to do more Hindi films. Seems like a sincere effort and a very decent film. The majority of critics gave it 3 or 3.5 stars. That is a very high critical rating for a movie maker known for commercial success.
Diljit Dosanjh delivers career’s best performance in Jogi. Then it must be good. Because Diljit is still constantly raved about for his performance in Soorma and Punjab 1984.

Just finished watching the movie. They started it off really well but lost track in between. The love story was unnecessary. Everything was going well and then suddenly beech mein love story ghusa diya for no particular reason. It's basically story of a man who rescues the Sikhs of his colony with the help of his police officer friend, makes another friend of his realize love is greater than hatred and sacrifices his life in the end.
The performances of everyone were good. Overall just a one time watch. The movie was not bad but not that good either.
