Brahmastra is showing a strong trend on its second Friday as collections could go up as compared to Thursday. The film could rack up an 8 crore nett second Friday in Hindi or maybe even better. The biggest plus is that there is no drop as a 15-20% drop may have made the collections of the second weekend a bit disappointing depending on the growth over the weekend.
The film now sits on a good wicket as at worse case the collections are going to be pretty much similar to Thursday and it has stopped the downward trend over the weekdays. Now it is a case about consolidating this good business on Friday with big growth on Saturday as this will practically ensure the film emerges a HIT in the final count.
The film was also have some decent collections from the Telugu version as that is still playing in a good number of cinemas in Nizam / Andhra which will mean an All Time Record in that circuit today or tomorrow. Overall the second Friday means that film is set to stay in cinemas for some time though it may see lower collections on weekdays as the audience demographic is similar to the big Hollywood films dominated by the 3D version.
