alka on other hand got good tone but her drawback was that her singing style was too much predictable , alka yagnik live stage singing is not upto the mark , she get uncomfortable on high notations

saleem of saleem suleman said that shreya goshal maintain her sweetness while getting high scale which is not the case for most of sweet voice singers like alka herself, be it wannabe lata or not in any case Shreya has been a greater playback singer to render different genre of songs than someone like alka who could not sing beyond her certain range of voice , and alka has been a romantic limited singer , that is not the case with lata , shreya and sunidhi chauhan they were more versatile than alka any given day, just listen to their work , you would find alka way too monotonous

You hate Alka. Sometimes you compare her to Kavita and bash her. Sometimes to Shreya.

Alka was biggest female singer from mid 80s to mid 2000s and has scored voices of biggest heroines like Madhuri, Juhi, Kajol, Karishma etc.

Deal with it.

Making new topics comparing her to other singers every 6 months to bash her will not change her status.

Alka was original and not a copy.

Anyway biggest female singers IMO are still Lata, Asha and Geeta Dutt. No other female singer came close to the work, range, quality and longevity of these 3.

Shreyas, Alkas, Kavitas, Sunidhis are all dim in front of Lata, Asha and Geeta. They would have never matched these 3 if they made debut around same time as the 3 senior legends.

Did Alka have a fallout with Sonu Nigam at some point?

Seriously hearing Alka on a high pitch gives me a headache. Plus she has the same style of going high and low. She is mostly on the higher pitch though. On low notes/ pitch she seems to have difficulty.

Plus almost all the songs she sings in plain manner. No extra efforts like even her contemporaries like Anuradha or Kavita put in. Same usual plain style of singing in every song except a couple.

Shreya not only has a sweet voice but also superb singing capabilities.

i dont hate alka , i love her songs but certainly alka was not the best , go and listen alka yagnik songs from 89-2004 you would find alka yagnik way too monotnous ,....every other songs she has sung is replica of her other songs , while listening the songs of shreya , sunidhi chauhan or kavua krinamurthy , they have achieved the perfection in their work which alka hasnt , , it doesnt matter how much song you sings , what matter is how much different style of singing you can do , Alka herself confess that yes she is monotonus and sings only romantic songs , deal with it 🥱😉,

forget sonu in this post atleast, talk on alka vs shreya , sunidhi in combination 😲😉 show me differnt songs of alka yagnik since 89-2004 any song which is not replica to her other songs she sung thosand of times , ....and i repeat such is not the case with shreya and sunidhi they were more way more versatile than alka
