Wasn't the case with films like Bahubali, Pushpa and RRR. Tickets were fast filling even on weekdays. Their weekday business was at part with their Fridays. That's why I mentioned Mumbai because there's no concept of weekends in the city. You will find crowds in weekdays too especially in the theatre areas because it's a business city, not an office city like Bangalore or Hyderabad.
