my 2 cents on epi 2 of jhalak.. i do think they saved the better performers for today in the sense that atleast all of them danced though nothing was too Impressing or Wow except Gunjan frankly but even that isn't a SURPRISE caz gunjan is simply outstanding

Gunjan: i have only seen her acts from her dance deewane too caz she was that good.. toh chalo aaj isi se start karte hain the sheer speed at which she does so many thing all at once and doesn't let go of any thing in the process. it is Mindboggling and a serious Brain freeze at times ke yeh itna kuch ek saath kaise process kar leti hai.. she was HANDS DOWN the BEST ACTTTTT of the competition and they were saying rubi raised the bar Hun*scoffs* seriously🤪🤔 then what was Gunjan.. She Displayed to all what jhalak is and jhalak stage is for,, the sync, the energy, the swag, the technicality the proper hold over every aspect of the act .. She was WAy way way ahead of everyone and Lol i liked amruta saying ke behan tu abhi lele trophy and everyone unanimously going ke gunjan se koi compete bhi kaise kare but i did like Gm ka encouraging smiles to her in between she was FABBBBBBBBBB WINNER Material Right here 100% top 2. what i also liked in this particular act is she wasn't trying to act too mature ordid came across as a child that she is let's hope aage bhi they do not take away her innocence away.. 10/10

Nia : i would say she pushed the bar and went for the higher difficulty level and aced it.. her lifts and all was proper advanced level and she managed to do it with ease so props to her for that and not just depending on the basic dancing but then Nia is nia i just simply find her attitude way too offputting and she is such a turn off for me personally uppar se her drama about trolls Plz bas karo.. no need for all this outside drama for sympathy. dance karne aaye ho woh acha kia na.. aur kya chahiye.. i wish she improves her personality she is always exuberating negativity and nagative aura and it is soooo hard to appreciate anything she is in caz that is just her for me.. dance wise i would give an 8/10 but this one i would rather wanna forget

Niti : Another one who just refuses to grow up.. It is frankly tiring beyond tiring to see her play the cute act Plz kuch toh aur karo.. dance wise she is good has the body language and understanding the co-ordination with the guy was very good she can do a lot more but i found her dance was relying on cgi way too much and she chose the easy way.. plus the whole fainting prank was way too offputting and annoying seriously jab acha bhala act kia toh aise attention kyon chahiye.. i did like her act but that just made me soo mad so i would have given her a 8 for that but ab i don't wanna do that as aisi attentionseeking ke liye i have no patience

paras: i found him plain boring the robotics was like ehh been there seen that and dusra he si just an awkward dancer somethign about him is always off as aps was also saying he was decent.. 7/10

Zorawar: beginner level ke hisab se pretty alright mroe than hsi dancing it was the spirit the josh he had and excitement thta he is going to dance that i found kinda sweet..7/10

Faisu : now i have developed a soft corner for him thanks to kkk and i do think he can do much more ,. i did liked his concept and story but wohi thoda sa polishing and fineesse is needed his act was pretty decent but faisu kar sakta hai with practice will get better as everybody says in kkk and i have come to notice too he does come across as very sincere jab kuch karta hai toh dil laga ke karta hai and well has proved himself in khatron but then this show isn't khatron so i will keep that aside hope to see him improve himself here just like he did in khatron too . he got vaishnavi who can do wonders with him caz he actually is a listner guide karenge toha age jaa sakte hain.8/10

sidenote glad Gm stayed away from all sorts of drama and bad jokes bhagwan yeh streak aage bhi continue rahe *thu thu thu* the only time he wanted to get involved in any other happenings was when Manish was liek who wants to volunteer to dance with nora hahah and thta didn't happen but haan bhai sambhal ke

happened to watch thiruchitrambalam the recent tamil release and blockbuster on einthsan with Nithya Menon and Dhanush and main kya boloon except drop everything and go and watch it.. it's been soooooo long we got to see a film like this which sooooo sooo simply talks about bigger problems like suppressed emotions the grief and how it impacts one's life in such heartwarming and realistic if i mays ay so way.. it sounds too heavy reading this description but has been one of the easiest light watch of the year thank to the slice of life quality it has. thecharacters are written with so much love and care and it comes through and straight away connects with you.. the USP is that it is full of laughter and joy despite having a very depressing sounding theme .. and has kept innocenece as the base of it.. it is not a rom com either but not the dark deep den of sadness and wannabee intense that very balance of when to esclate and address serious things in simple manner is intresting..and besides that Nothya and Dhanush are just a joy to watch caz of how well they compliment each other and want us to wish to have this kind of dosti.. Aww shobhna is like a Bestiw we all want no matter what she just feels like a jagat Bestie sooooo freaking full of warmth and empathy

oh and the other highlight or full on lulz moment dhanush and nithya as shobhna and pazham putting up a stage performance as punjabi's doing bhangra on Aha chiknak chiknak😆 for their society i have seen it all

happy to report that romance genre is officially abck thank to south industries we have some very good ones.. this ante sundaraniki, sita ramam( yet to watch this onebut is being hailed a lot and the promo did look good)

oh wow this looks very interesting and very different in terms of the subject for serial killing.. man Dq is gonna surprise all yeah this is what he should have chosen for his bollywood debut.. if this works then this Guy would be in all 4 industries on top ahhhh Gimme dark Dq am in for it.. also Very interesting lead cast.. the whoel kaagaz ke phool refrence being incorporated so smartly.. and i think ab mujhe finally dekh hi leni chahiye kaagaz ke phool.. i know of it's cult status and story but dekhi kabhi nahi for some reason

DQ has a nice singing voice - sang well in the end. Nice cast overall and Balki does usually make good stuff.

Ok finished first epi of JDJ so gonna post my quick thoughts on that before heading to epi 2

There's a reason I feel so bored and jaded of dance shows now cuz I still feel I've already experienced the best era with early seasons of DID and JDJ....nothing beats the high of Sushant ke early performances in JDJ....uske baad the only other dancer I enjoyed on JDJ was Lauren I think.

On JDJ, everything depends on the vision sync and tuning between the choreographer and celebrity. That is how you get a performance like the horror act Sushant-Shampa did on JDJ that set new benchmarks.

Now coming to GM-Romsha....the act was on point with with posture, lifts, body fluidity in both of them....but it still lacked a sense of VISION as an act....like seriously the whole theme was him emerging from some pool, both of them pouring oil on each other and going back into the pool? 😆....Personally I want to see more thought put into the theme of an act than lighting a candle and rubbing oil on each other😆.....sensuality can be one ASPECT of your act....not the WHOLE thing. That is where I found this act lacking....issue is not that you can't show sensual stuff on TV but a very heavy reliance on just one aspect gets boring. Also at some points in the act, I could see the PREPARATION of getting ready for a lift rather than flowing into it. All this is bound to get more heavily scrutinized for GM's acts cuz he is a very clean and smooth dancer overall so any sense of "prep" between one move to the next will show. What stood out was that GM and Romsha are both very comfortable with their bodies and how to use them as dancers.....this is a strong quality for their partnership...but again, without VISION, it will be a wasted opportunity. Just slithering over one other ain't gonna feel like dance unless you weave some kind of story/plot into the act. This one was pure objectification this time if I am to call it out for what it was😆.

I do feel Romsha has potential as a choreographer....whatever dancing parts she choreographed were good - lifts were good too....but I would like to see more dancing in the coming weeks than an "act" per se. I liked the sense of professionalism otherwise coming through from their partnership but yes, my main expectation will continue to be more dance and less focus on just objectification.

Summing up the rest of this epi.....I liked Rubina's act....I know Sanam's capability over the years and he's gotten a lot of experience working on so many dance shows....see now this act still had vision and story woven into it along with a dance style...and Rubina did pretty decently for someone who's not some pro salsa dancer. I forwarded all her nautanki bakwaas so that also helped me focus on the dance :P

Amruta's act kinda bored me cuz I found the mix of Garmi underwhelming on the Lavni style they did....forwarded all her nautanki too....lol

I'm deffo missing a dancer/choreographer like Shampa on this show....she did some amazing work.

Shilpa I had to forward through after a minute cuz too much chaotic mess...lol forwarded her nautanki too....lol.....Also forwarded/zoned out the Dheeraj guy....lol he needs a LOT of work....at one point he was walking between steps rather than atleast trying to make it look like dance....lol

Nora screaming in the middle of every person's acts was REALLY distracting me....lol

Also, is this like standard now that acts are not even live anymore? lol all these choreographers adding in props/CGI elements that aren't shot live? 😆.....so then what is even the point of a dance competition if they can stand on top of a huge prop for part of their act and then do a seperate shot for the portion of actually dancing on stage? 😆......Yeh Nia kab aayi neeche giant sher se? lol it clearly didn't feel like a live act

Nia's act was very energetic with some solid moves and lifts....that said, she seems to be relying on doing aggressive dance forms rather than graceful ones....lol I saw a BTS of next week's shoot and she's again wearing some kind of Afro-jazz type costume so wohi dance karegi. Her choreographer seems very good - played to her strengths.

Niti's whole performance seemed pre-shot CGI....lol I can't even tell what new gimmicks they are doing in dance shows these days....so chaotic. But the act had a youthful energetic vibe which could appeal to the demographic that Niti will probably be targeting anyways....lol her next week's act looks like Lindy Hop type kuch

That Gunjan kid was fantastic and probably the act I enjoyed the most overall cuz choreography and dancing - both were solid.

Another one I enjoyed was Faisu's act....again, Vaishnavi is a solid choreographer/dancer and it shows in the choreography/execution of this act.....Faisu can dance and deffo improve with a good choreographer like Vaishnavi

The chef isn't going to last long....lol I was vaguely reminded of the season when Ram Kapoor's choreographer struggled to get him to dance for acts😆....then he surprisingly picked up like 2 weeks later and starting to properly dance but got eliminated by then😆

Woh Paras ka bhi act felt CGI-heavy....Faisu is way better than him. Paras ki choreographer seems good so another case of a person's shortcomings maybe getting covered up his choreo....lol

After seeing all the acts, I would just say that Romsha needs to buck up if she wants to be a serious competitor 😆.....this show isn't won by being "hot and handsome"....dhang ki choreography karo behen cuz there are better choreographers than you there.

Dq sure does..hindi main isko zyada singing ka chance nahi mila warna he is a regular in his South films but I guess this is more on the spot candid singing . The topic is so funny let's see how it comes together
