Okay saw the second episode of Jhalak and got an idea of kaun kitne paani main hain, so thought to make a list, where I thought to rank the contestants as per how I liked their dance from worst to best:

12 - Shilpa Shinde - I couldn't even muster enough to see the dance, forget make sense of it - it was just bad with no redeeming qualities at least as of now

11 - Zorawar Kalra - this one I expected to be bad hence I FFed through it as well, but atleast the guy tried I must say and has a lot of enthusiasm

10 - Dheeraj Dhoopar - This was was very robotic and the choreographer was doing the major dancing with him just being a khamba. The CGI did better than he did IMO

9 - Paras Kalnawat - this one is supposed to be a dancer and even MD called him a good dancer, but he just feels and seems like a wannabe. His hand eye coordination just doesn't seem right, I always feel like his body is trying to do a different step than what his brain is trying to show. He feels very clumsy to me atleast and I did not like his performance ( had a problem with his dancing from his Anupamaa days itself, so nothing new for me)

8 - Ali Asgar - he is a decent dancer and more importantly an entertaining one. The best part is that he also doesn't take himself too seriously. But I hope he does more as Ali and drops the daadi act soon which is starting to get extremely annoying

7 - Rubina Dilaik - she has the required body language but her footwork and the basic grace needed was missing for me. It felt like her act was more about the posing rather than dancing, but she definately has potential to be better

6 - Faisal Shaikh - he can dance, but needs to really develop his finesse. While can really do the steps well, he needs to work on his overall presentation

5 - Niti Taylor - she can dance pretty well, but the steps seemed to be stuck in the cute zone with not much difficulty. She can do really well if her choreographer pushes her out of her comfort zone

4 - Amruta Khanvilkar - she was brilliant in her performance, but this has been what she has been doing all this while in her movies and even her reels. When she does something different, it would be easier to then judge her true dancing talents

3 - Nia Sharma - she surprised me with how good her act was. She can move really well and her choreographer gave her some really difficult lifts which she was able to deliver quite well. I feel she will give good takkar to Amruta and Niti in the dance department

2 - Gashmeer Mahajani - his act is being hailed for being hot, but what I liked the best was how clean his lines were. Earlier I remember in older dance shows, the judges used to always praise contestants who would point their toes or extend their limbs to points when doing their lifts, and this guy was the only one who did that so well. I still feel 1 or 2 lifts felt a bit clumsy and not as clean as I would expect from a guy of his calibre, but I will give it a pass coz this is the first time I am seeing him do a contemporary act, so that may be the reason for that. Loved his dancing and hope to see more

1 - Gunjan Sinha - this girl is a pataka. If choreographed well, she has the capability to win the season, coz she is that good. And she has a good partner as well, so she really is the one to look out for.

Abhi after 2 episodes this is is my list, which may change later based on their performance. Do let me know what are your thoughts.

Ditto. I just saw this and I couldn’t stop laughing over the whole thing being dedicated to long sweeping shots of the car 🤣. FK looked like a part of a random dance troupe. The car was the focus 🤷‍♀️😂

I died at the trunk opening and yeh beech main se aadhe niklooing as their legs were hanging out pehle ae so awkward 😆 and that random window ke peeche se shot gosh yeh hainka jhalak winning act..beyond amusing is their sudden desperation to be on jhalak jabke a month ago tak they didn't even knew the show existed😆

I just don’t understand one thing though - why so much cringe on jaaniya when the gen leap is happening? Even the ravivaar clips floating around - so much focus on jaaniya with the two exiting, it should be the opposite? Please don’t tell me it’s for nach baliye 😆😆 oh man ..
