I don't see why Hariprasad has to dislike his sister just because she married someone older than her. I mean yes 20 years is excessive but many people of hari prasads age have age gaps upwards of 7-9 years in their marriage. People might be not accepting of it but it seems pretty weird to actively hate someone based on the age difference between their spouse. Would have made more sense if he was angry because she married by her own choice or something. Also hariprasad is a pathetic person and I hope the show doesnt try to whitewash his character by that thaka hara middle class baap trope and actually calls a spade a spade.

exactly! It was odd to me that while his wife and seema got happy for Vidhis accomplishments, he couldn’t help but speak on his condition or seem surprised abt the laptop. He should be happy for his daughter but I didn’t sense thrill there.

he is the classic person who cant see people being more successful.Normally fathers wanna see their children go ahead in their life and even earn more than themselves but he is the kind of person who's ego won't let him enjoy his child's happiness since he cannot play a part in it or take the credit for it. Now it makes more sense why vidhi didn't want her salary to be more than her father's. It was less out of respect and more about conflict avoidance.

When is she going to talk normally like an ordinary new age girl. I have seen and experienced first hand how even village belle's are so kickass and chalaak.

Viji

Yes not getting much exposure doesn't mean one would be stupid

Yes it would have looked logical if husband is younger than his sister because old people hardly find it odd when husband is older cast issue can be reason but age gap 🙄

exactly! I wonder now if growing up vidhi was obsessively controlled and if that’s the reason for her social anxiety and panic attacks when under stress.

I think 10 was still considered normal age gap but perhaps even in that generation, 20 or 25 is too much. Her dad clearly has a issue age gaps if not for the generation.

my parents use to say in their childhood times.... tey were all afraid f their father.... due to respect

now days most of the parents are liberal... still i hv seen some family... in name f religion...orthodox traditional culture... being strict to girls... (boys there...very rare) and not allowed to talk etc etc

these girls lack confidence or get out f hands wen tey get world exposure.... which lead to dark n painful future due to some small mistake they did in this out f excitement getting out f the closed circles
