I believe it, just as I did with your LSC review👍🏼 As you said, there is not really a palpable buzz and though Big B is a legend, he doesn't really have the ability to draw in crowds like before. The audience is getting younger, exposed to content across countries. But the most worrying aspect is the underwhelming trailer. Forget the VFX, the storyline and dialogues seem to be amiss.

I agree with this as someone from South India.

The South audience goes to the movies for two reasons:

1. digesting absolute turkeys for the sake of supporting their fav stars and hyping even forgettable movies for their "leader".

2. Word of mouth for good films which eventually leads to a longer run for a movie.

This doesn't seem to have either of the two.

Ranbir and Alia together should manage to get 20 Crore opening or atleast 15 Crore opening, considering both Shamshera and Gangubai opened to 10 Crores.

But movie doesn't look like it's well made with dialogues like "kya ho tum" or "light uss roshni ka naam hai" so it's probably another Disaster.

Epic dream projects don't work if it's anything less than flawless unless it's directed by SLB.

If KJo, Alia and Ranbir book halls for 5 cr each on day one, then they can add 15 cr to the opening day numbers Amitabh has already abandoned the film since teaser release. And I dunno if Ayaan ke paas itna paisa hai.

Or do what KRK "accused" Aamir of. Pay 5 crores to PVR and tell them to declare a (fake) higher opening IF that is an option, that is; and not a figment of KRK's imagination.

They all know that the WOM for the film is horrible, they will try everything to save it, or at least give it a decent opening. Shaadi ke baad ka pehla film hai, after all. And iske baad part 1 and 2 bhi hai😆

I am more interested to see how KJO will cover up this disaster to make it a hit or passable product with his PR 😆

The VFX also looks quite mediocre. Look i am not asking BW to compete with Hollywood but at least come up with competent VFX that can compete with chinese and korean movies.
