The news is that today's game will be played on a fresh deck (more in our written preview), where bounce is expected to be aplenty. While some of you feel India should make a few changes - like bringing in Pant, Deepak Hooda or Ravi Bishnoi into the XI - Wasim Jaffer on our preview show believes they are better off keeping the same XI. Where do you stand in the debate about XIs?

India are going through one of those rare moments in limited-overs cricket history where the top-order hasn't been performing. Kohli is coming off a break and a poor run of form, Rahul is coming off injury and the lack of game time, Rohit has been there and thereabout.

A minnow bowling attack could just be the tonic they need to get some confidence and some consistency back. Apart from that, India could experiment, particularly with the spinners, for in Australia, it is unlikely that both Ashwin and Bishnoi would be taken along.

We are nearing toss time, and by the look of things out there in the middle, nothing new can be sensed. India are keeping their cards close to their chests. Pant is going through some wicket-keeping skills by the boundary, and that is a good enough signal that he won't be playing tonight. Also, although chasing has been a trend, India might look to bat first and give their top-order some batting time. The toss is quite irrelevant.

It's that once in four years moment. Now it might not be a big deal for the rest of the cricketing world, but qualifying for the main Asia Cup event after brushing aside some serious competition, is a big thing for Hong Kong. Nobody expects them to win tonight. Not everyday do they get to play a team of the might of India.

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Dinesh Karthik(w), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh

Rohit Sharma: We were going to bowl first as well. Looks like an even covering of grass and we need to bat well to get to a good score. We just want to continue to do what we are doing as a team. We don't want to look at the opposition and play good and hard cricket. We need to do our basics right, which is what got us a victory against Pakistan. One change: Hardik is rested considering how important he is for us, Pant comes in.

Nizakat Khan: We are going to bowl first. In Oman, we chased down well and that is what we are looking to do. The last time we played India, it was a good game and we know we did some mistakes and want to make sure we capitalize on that. We have the same team we played against UAE.

Hong Kong have won the toss and have opted to field
