Yes. The story has reached exactly where it started. With love and farz switching. There are two things that can be taken into account

We are yet to have clarity on the years of separation. They are playing smart there by not revealing it. Anything less than 7 years nullifies Virakhi marriage. They are playing by the ear and seeing how the audience takes it. And to keep the complexity alive.

If P is reformed in true sense, she will walk out of the marriage as soon as Sai comes back. The difference between the pre and post leap plot, Sai and V were married. That is what will not happen. It can't be that easy.

Sai will have to return to CN for whatever reasons. For Vinu's health or Savi's safety. And she will be subjected to all the humiliation and heart break. The Chavans have double standards and hypocrisy running thicker than blood in them.

And if P's OG avatar is to make a return that her claws will be out the moment Sai reappears and her insecurity peaks. Her reaction to Savi's name is proof that she still lives in a fear. (This could be either the fact that she doubts that she can have what she desired or that she knows that Sai survived but is not aware of Savi). I don't want that typical fight for V, where P challenges Sai and Sai being the only one who sees her true face is constantly trying to prove it to the never to be convinced Chavans. I hope it just doesn’t turn into a cat fight.

For Sai keeping her status quo as dead/missing being pointed out by V for causing all the miseries, will only reflect bad on him. That his love is so shallow, that with her being dead, he forget and forgive the wrong done to her and marry the very same person who brought this upon his wife.

Quoting Sadhika from her post ....V's lines during P's arrest "I'm glad Sai is in my life and not you. You don't exist for me". Just because Sai was dead do these statements not hold true? Is he even a man of words as he proudly calls himself to be? Wasn't he the one to question Sai "How can you believe that I will forgive someone who tried to harm you?" So basically Sai being dead clears P of all her crimes and she can be forgiven. I wish Sai questions him on these very same promises.

Another observation, V is only true to the promises he makes as a compromise and not to someone who is loves. Till the time Sai was an extension of the promise to KJ he tried to keep the promise. But once the marriage was accepted in its true sense, he failed on promises given to her. Same is the case with P. He broke his promise given to his ex-GF who he still felt attracted to. But when he fell out of that feeling, his promises to her gained more momentum. He continued to be her friend despite everything. Ans even now he will keep his word to P/Mansi by honouring the marriage. Look at what he did for SH she was no one to him.

I will not call out the MU as a fault of either. V couldn't find Sai and MU that she is dead and Sai has not realised this. She feels that V stood his ground He said if she walks out he will never come looking for her and it would end everything between them. And she thinks that is exactly what he did. Never looked back. However, even if that MU is cleared it cannot justify V's actions in any away post that.

And ya, like you said it will become that loop, where P will ask forgiveness and V will go by her words and she will again create issues. It is a cycle.

Yes it will be a loop .. but now that virat has married pakhi ., let’s say the leap is for 8 years ..and virakhi marriage is valid still they can opt for divorce

because Sai will not be in virat’s life as a friend or other woman .. he could have held on to her As her husband.. but if he’s married to Pakhi and holds the status of pakhi’s husband .. he is Sai’s ex husband.. the father of her kids .. who she only needs to meet regarding them nothing about her ..

Infact I feel if it is less than 7 years .. and Sairat marriage is valid .. still Sai will file for divorce .. as he was cohabitating with pakhi .. and she won’t accept him back

Now all hate Sai at home. So he keeps 2 families till someone finds out, maybe the politician. bK will take her home and due to varis.

All will be indebted to P as she revived the business.

Sorry for posting without following much of conversation here. Just wanted to say story telling is also about showing contrast. So what we are seeing through Virat and Patralekha relationship is the contrast between his present and past relationships. We will see more of the difference in the coming episodes.

[Have not seen much of episodes before the leap [leaps always make me curious] so cannot say much about the recent or the present Virat. But I got disillusioned with his character and the writing when the 'Alta' episode happened and quit the show soon after.

In the handful Indian shows that I have seen, one thing is common. No one remembers what was spoken a day earlier. The writers are only thinking of a high point that can fetch TRPs. Good dialogues are only fillers and nothing more. Audience who watch it on the TV too don't care.
