That’s a subjective matter though. So even if they think they’ve proven themselves a) doesn’t necessarily mean they have and b) even if they have still be tactful and say you’ll work hard to prove yourself. Otherwise they come across as arrogant and that’s not gonna go down well either.

I do think your earlier point was spot on, she doesnt have anybody mature to guide her at this stage

she is at a good juncture but ranbir and kjo are not the right people,

and to top it ranbir's non success may impact her too

I kind of agree with her. People want to boycott all the movies and trolling actors. She's pregnant and people should leave her alone. All that stress is not good for anyone especially pregnant woman.

They shouldn’t say anything. If asked they should find a way to dodge the question. Or give some generic “I understand, I’m hoping to prove my worth” type answers. They live the life of luxury where they get paid an insane amount of money for a few months worth of work. They should learn to appreciate how incredibly lucky they are and just keep it 🤐. It’s the least they can do.

This specific sentence, if you don’t like me don’t watch me, has a very aggressive undertone to it. It’s basically telling the audience F you if you don’t like me.

agree bahut sare generic answers hain to shift focus

hope people will watch because movie so great, divert attention to cast crew blah blah

we should also provide great movies, praise other movies of other languages

mention bb2 or tkf and say quality content will always find takers, compliment them

praise ayan and his commitement, shift focus

i remember when sai pallavi got into a controversy during virata parvam (she said kashmir genocide and lynchings are both bad), she was hounded by the press, she and rana requested them to focus on the film and the director writer as it is his first work and they shifted the focus, and sai palavi said she will issue clarification seperately after movie release which she did

Having a more generic statement helps.

If you don't like don't watch is very arrogant and aggressive.

The actors are a privileged lot and may not be humble in real life can atleast have more grounded answers.

Look at Sai Pallavi, who ensured that the pr for the film matters or even an Akshay Kumar who took responsibility of a film.

Your audience is your customer and in any business the first rule is understand and respect your customer.

Bollywood is another business and all these folks should understand that at the end of the day if you want business adapt simple.

Also KJO and Ranbir pr must be fired, Alia in darlings promotions was subtle ,yes there was a lot of self praise but she atleast pretended to respect her director and co actors. Their pr strategy really needs to go back to the basics

I don’t quite think that statement is aggressive

In a way it also conveys helplessness because they acknowledge there is nothing they can possibly do to change some minds …they will continue to shit on them regardless of any good work they put in or how humble they are or how consciously they help people via charities and other things to show gratitude and not take their privilidge for granted

Statements , pictures everything is taken out of context and it becomes this toxic spiral of Twitter trends and WhatsApp forwards to brainwash ppl …someone who dosent follow media/ isn’t into films will get easily brainwashed by this …u and me might take it with a tonne of salt but someone like say my uncles who watch one film a year will start believing in nonsense like “kjo murdered sushanth” and stick with it

It is such a sad state of affairs tbh

I don’t blame celebs for standing up for themselves …customer may be king but even when the king threatens to punish u for crimes u haven’t done, u will revolt …that’s just straight up bullying

People who threaten to boycott do the exact same …they want actors to grovel at their feet and beg them and have this sadistic need to see them break if they don’t “bend” …the general audience at large is not like that
the celebs are answerable to the audience …not to sadists

These stars hold the very audience that enables their luxurious lifestyle through movies and endorsements with such disdain and contempt. Perhaps it would be good for them to learn meaning of the word humility. Alia owns properties in India and even in London, all through her earnings via Bollywood. But of course, she will attribute it to her hard work, forgetting that if the audience made her successful today, they can make her inconsequential tomorrow. The stars can’t force people to go to see their movies. I wanted to see this movie in the theatres but Alia’s statement has turned me off. Bollywood stars are destroying their movies and the industry themselves with their sense of entitlement and arrogance.

Bollywood stars do not like middle class Indians. It does not matters if they are upper class or lower class. Most of the rich and super rich dislike middle class Indians. It does not matters whether they show off their wealth or hide behind a cotton saree and jhola.

I have worked in luxury hospitality. These are the type of requests I have seen from celebrities- whether film or sports and super rich:

1. No seating and dining along common people. Cannot blame them. Most people are obsessed with taking selfies.

2. No entry through common front entrance. Most of them prefare entering through staff area.

3 Only ela - carte food ie practice of ordering individual dishes as per guest wishes.

4. One personal contact in hotel for any requirement, in spite of having security and personal assistant.

5. Non disclosure of stay.

6. No media or fans.

7. Some even make their personal assistants to have a connected room or sleep in another room in their suite. I heard about some making them sleep in roll down bed.

In other words I have been literally said. Keep the annoying common man away from us. As per your logic, you should not watch any sports specially cricket, no movies and no songs. You cannot buy any goods or services. Do not read or watch anything. Wear any clothes or shoes. I said this because Alia's views belongs to all the rich and famous in this country. More you hang with the super rich, you understand them better.

When is the Bhoot song releasing?Promotions are a mess.

When promoting, you need to be warm, expansive, generous, inclusive and praise other films/stars and get their fans to amplify the film. A pregnant Alia could have done wonders for herself on KWK..But her styling, the cuss words, showing middle finger didn't make any sense. You should be happy at peace..not gloating.

RK is paying for his Shamshera promotions. All these years ,he was protected by Sonam,Kat,Anu,Bebo fans-Now they either ignore or trash him. What was he thinking? It is a new experience for him..I don't know how he will handle it..
