yes and then may be short epilogue. didnt want to write one but then this story had everything like a book, prologue, chapters with name so it must have an epilogue also😆

Epilogue is must that's one of our favorites even after getting happy moments also in story we want epilogues 🤣 that's like final mohar on mineil life's in each story

Chapter 40 Living the Dream

"I cant believe you are nervous. Will just stop it?" Mini chided Neil when he again bit his nails.

"What can I do....I am just performing on stage after so long and I dont why but it feels like I am going there for the first time. You know the feeling I used to get whenever I performed for the reality show...those days kind of nervousness I am feeling." Neil explained.

Mini rolled her eyes on his antics while Mickey laughed at him. "Can you belive him Mickey? I mean I can understand why Arya is nervous as its her first performance ever but Neil....its like you guys have performed gazillionth times." Mini shook her head in disbelief.

"Hey! I think its time, we have to go now on stage." Mickey announced and all three of them stood up to make their entry on stage. Arya prayed to God for best wishes and Mickey took deep breath. Neil hugged Mini for best luck.

Crowd used to go crazy whenever Hurricane made entry on stage but this time it seemed like it was new experience for the fans too. They cheered but that old craziness was missing. Neil took position and without much ado he started playing his guitar instantly attracting everyone's attention.

I used to be a star full of winds of angst and hatred intensifying each moment

when things went awry I combusted into black storm

The heavy rock number together with the hindustani classical touch by Arya just made a connection with the audience. Nobody wanted it to end but when it finally did, the crowd was as crazy as it used to be and there were already shouts of 'once more' all around the place.

Arya was excited to see such response to her art for the first time. She jumped in excitement. Mickey was pleased to see people have showered love again on them and Neil was ecstatic. Finally the thunderous applause, whistles, shouts, the 'once mores' and love yous' filled his ear and mind and those shameful, bitter memories of previous stage incident were getting washed away.

Neil closed his eyes and extend his hands as if to engulf this feeling into his arms. As he opened his eyes again, he couldnt see properly. He wondered why is that and realized there were tears in his eyes...tears of happiness, of satisfaction, of gratefulness. He was finally back...The Rockstar Neil Oberoi was finally back!

And he knew what he should to to make this moment even more perfect. He took the mike and thanked the audience for their love. Everyone became quiet to hear what their hero has to say.

"This is awesome...really really awesome. I know I have had much larger crowd than this before but its like I am feeling for the first time what it feels like to cherish the love showered upon us....this adrenaline kick...whoo! greater than any intoxication in this world. It was my dream to live like this, enjoy music....ability to bring smile on your faces....entertain you...somewhere down the line I kind of forgot what it feels like to be Rockstar Neil Oberoi but you guys...reminded me of it again...I love you...I love all of you so much." Neil finished his speech and then sighed in relief. Crowd cheered for him showing their support.

Neil silenced them and start speaking again, "Talking about love...I really like to do one more thing to make this special day more special. I invite on stage my sunshine, my hope....the reason today I am here in front of all of you...my love...my life...Minni....can you please come on stage."

Arya and Mickey was surprised while Mini was shocked. There was tremendous crowd out there. Making public appearances with Neil in front of few media people was one thing but facing live audience for another. She was mortified with the idea of going there. When Neil looked at her, she shook her head in no vigorously. And Neil being Neil, went there and almost pulled her with him out on stage.

"What are doing Neil...stop it...I cant...you know..." Mini stammered seeing herself in the center of stage.

"Shshsh...trust me." Neil silenced her and took the mike again. "So, here she is, acting all shy and nervous but she is the iron lady who has not only fought with her own problems but also pulled me out of darkness. As I said I am living my dream today, so I want to complete this experience in all sense. The previous act on stage had left me and everybody ashamed of me. I disrespected the stage now I want to do something in its honour. There is no greater power,act, feeling other than love. So today I want this stage to witness the moment when I will profess my love to my one and only."

Mini could hardly understand what Neil meant by his monologue when Neil went on his knees and brought out a small box from his pocket. Her mouth left opne at the suddenness of his act while Mickey and Arya just hugged each other in joy as this moment was important to them also. They have fought with everyone, from Neil and Mini themselves so that this moment could come.

"Mini, I know may be I am not worthy of your love. May be I never will be. Yet you turn my life from hell to heaven. You must be some God sent angel. You made me fall in love again with my music, with my dreams. You are going to give me greatest happiness of world by making me papa. Just do me another favour please, say yes to me. Marry me and be mine forever." Neil finished and looked at Mini to see her reaction.

Mini was silent while the crowd had gone another level of crazy by witnessing this moment. All this was so cheesy but so drool worthy, excited and happening. Not only their favorite rockstar was proposing his girl but he is going to be a father soon. They felt genuinely happy for him. When Mini didnt say anything for few second, crowd begin to cheer for Neil, supporting his proposal.

"Just say yes!"

"Gosh! He loves you truly."

"Adorable couple."

come on....say yes...say yes."

Mini was overwhelmed by all this. A minute before she was nervous to come on stage and now she had just forgotten all that. All she could see is the pool of love in front of her in form of Neil. She wanted nothing but get drowned in it. It was her dream come true too. Its not like she had any doubt on his love but still she was waiting fro him to propose her specially after the she found out she was carrying his child. But she didnt want to rush him into anything after what all he went through. But today, he has outdone himself in showing romantic gesture.

Mini laughed and gestured the crowd to silence as she wanted everyone to listen to her answer loud and clear.

"Yes, Neil Oberoi, I will marry you. Is no even an option? It was, is and always will be you and you only in my life and I dont want to live a moment again if you are not with me." Mini declared her love amidst tears and then threw herself in Neil's arms.

The performance, the proposal everything had gone viral everywhere. Neil and Mickey with little help from Arya had proved they are back in the game and they are here to stay on top as always. And Mini and Neil had found their happily ever after moment.

"Jaldi karo yaar. Tum logo ke kaaran na main apni hi shadi mein late ho jaunga." Neil scolded everyone who were busy getting ready, completing random chores.

"Dekho bechara kitna besabar ho raha hai shadi ke liye." Preet laughed at him.

"Arre wife bhi toh Minni jaisi mil rahi hai na. Tumhari tarah hoti toh koi excitement nahi hota." Bobby made fun of Preet earning a angry glare from her.

"Leave it guys! Ye Bobby Preet ka toh chalta rahega. Neil, I am ready. Lets leave for wedding venue. Ye log baad mein aa jayenge." Jazz said holding Neil's arm.

"Hey! Dont you dare leave us. Bas 5 minutes mein main ready ho jaungi. Please wait for me." Preet requested.

"Ya, we all know that your 5 minutes means atleast one hour." Mickey joked and everyone laughed.

Mickey looked at his friends. They all looked happy and contended. Now that he thinks he cant believe they all were separated some time ago. All those fights, ego clashes seems like a wild imagination. Neil was so right about them. While Mickey was not very willing to forgive all that happened between them but Neil was adamant that they too deserve a second chance like he got. Neil had said that often dark times make us do things which we cant even imagine in our right mind. All the other were already jealous of Neil's growing popularity and his toxic behaviour didnt help much. As a result, misunderstandings, ego clashes and growing enmity took place of friendship. But once Neil changed himself, it impacted on his every relationship. He not only understood their insecurities but also addressed them. And once again, all were back as friends...Hurricane was back...like it never broke down.

"What are you thinking? Lets go, everyone is ready." Jazz brought Mickey out of thoughts and he smiled at her. Lately, his feelings towards Jazz had changed. Now he looked at her more than just as friend and feelings were mutual. Neil had Minni and Bobby- Preet were always made for each other. Mickey kind of used to feel alone but thankfully Jazz fulfilled the void in his life.

All of them went to the venue. They saw Arya had made a beautiful arrangement for Indian style wedding. It was MIni's choice to have indian wedding because she wanted to fulfill her parents dream of seeing her in red color bridal dress. It was a task in itself to arrange for Indian pandit and all the things for pooja and havan in New York but Arya left no stone un turned for his sister and jeeju. She was going to get her family back in them.

The most difficult task was to keep media away from it. Media people were roaming around them like flies on sweets to get few pictures and glimpses of wedding but both Mini and Neil wanted it to be a private affair so special care had been taken by their team to avoid media circus at every cost.

Apart from their wedding, there was another reason for celebration for Arya. She had launched her solo song and it became a instant hit. She was celebrating the success of it. Neil and the band members asked her to join the band but Arya denied. She didnt want to bank on their success, she wanted to achieve something by herself, wanted to make her own name and with Neil and everyone's guidance she was slowly taking steps towards it. Yes, God took so much from her but he also returned so much to her with interest. She couldnt ask for anything more.

Neil was sitting in the mandap when pandit ji called Mini. As she came wearing red patiala suit with golden embroidered border, Neil forgot to breathe. She looked ethereal. She had chosen suit for the wedding because of comfort as it was already her 8 month. The pregnancy glow was visible on her making her look like some angel. As she put one step on the mandap, Neil stood up and supported her.

Mini smiled at him. She was sure he wont let her climb even small two stairs and exactly that happened. Ever since she has become pregnant he was at her service. He never left her even for few minutes. If he has to go for performance then he would ask her to accompany him. And ever since doctor has advised her to not travel, Neil has cancelled all his tours till her delivery. He never misses a chance to take care of her, pamper her, confess his love for her. Though they have left their past behind and she already forgave him for everything when she decided to be with him but still he keeps repeating how grateful he is have her back in his life. Minni had scolded him to not remember those dark times but somethings are just engraved in his heart so deeply that she doubts will it ever leave him. She came out of the thoughts and caressed her baby bump hoping that may be their baby will be able to erase those scars completely from his heart.

As panditji asked them to take pheras, Neil held Mini's hand protectively and they took the pheras with Neil reciting each and every 'vachan' from his heart. Mini could tell there was this same intensity in his eyes which was there when he first time confessed his love to her. Soon they were pronounced as husband and wife. Mini was officially welcomed in Neil's house.

Their life was blissful when they got the news that Neil's father, Yash Oberoi has passed away. Neil even denied to see his face last time let alone performing his last rites. Lawyer told them that he has left his everything in Neil's name. Neil didnt even wanted a penny from his money, the money which he earned by killing his and his mom's dreams. But Mini not only convinced her to perform his last rights but also claim the property.

Mini told him that whatever he may have done but now he is dead. He is no more so grudges they hold against him should also be no more. They both needed to forgive him and move ahead in life, cut the last thread which was holding them back to past traumatic memories. Neil finally agreed and returned to India for Yash's last rights and do the legal work regarding property papers. Mini decided to make a trust out of that money. She remembered how she and Arya had to suffer for her treatment when she had no money. She thought that she will use Yash's money to help those who are in need of money for the treatment of serious illness. She thought Yash didnt do anything right till he was alive but after him atleast his money could be of use in some good deeds and this way may be his soul will rest in peace.

At the end of ninth month, Mini gave birth to beautiful baby girl. The moment both Mini and Neil held her in the hands, their tears couldnt stop. She was everything, their dream, happiness, their love in human form, the destiny of their love which brought them together, separated them and again united them and so the girl child was named Niyati.

"Now that Niyati is here, will you love me less?" Minni asked innocently looking at Neil sharing a new mother's insecurities.

"No, never. I love you the most. You were, you are and you will be always first and foremost for me....forever in my heart." Neil assured her and kissed both his girls on forehead.
