Well Oscar is primarily meant for Hollywood films so we can’t expect them to award indian performances but yes udham Singh should have been nominated in best foreign film category

This is why BW is sinking, people think Sid should win for giving one decent performance, just because it is his best performance does not mean he was better than other actors. Definitely Vicky deserves it more, it will be appalling if Vicky loses to Sid

I am waiting for next years nominations list, will Anupam Kher be nominated? Kya TKF list mein hoga, what about Vivek agnihotri, for popularity they can’t award Karthik aryan will Vivek if he wins boycott or come on stage and blast everyone

I don't know what Filmfare's standards are. But they don't have much credibility. Also Sardar Udham released during the second wave of covid. So it didn't have a proper run at the box office. Sid has won worst actor before if you go through his IMDB. And I still think he is overrated.

None of the Hindi film awards have much credibility left. Amongst all of them Filmfare is still in a better place relative to others.

Sardar Udham was directly released on OTT. It didn’t get a theatrical release. Neither did Shershah.

He won the worst actor at the Filmfail Awards for "A Gentlemen." If neither got a box office release then how do we know which film got more traction. I know I heard of Udham Singh through friends and how good of a movie it was. I watched Shershah when the news about Sid and Kiara breakup came out. Then I learned they supposedly fell in love through Shershah.

Like I said I would personally be very appalled. It would be a shock I will not be able to get over for decades. But it seems like I am offending a lot of Sid fans.
