I loved Abhimanyu and Akshara saving the child scene. Abhimanyu is always shown as a strong alpha character - he felt so helpless today…was heartbreaking to see him like that. It was good to see Akshara helping him through it. But the dialogues after that - where he lays down his insecurities in front of Akshara - I felt that scene would have been so much more impactful if Abhimanyu had very few dialogues and Akshara reassured him. But she was just listening most of the time. Pls don’t get me wrong - I love that she’s supporting him. But that support has to come out so much more strongly. Instead of Abhimanyu seeking assurance from her - she herself should give him strength. I really hope makers make her character at least 10 times stronger.
When Abhimanyu heard Dr Khera was leaving and surgery - he felt hope wither away but didn’t show it - smiled in front of family and had a monologue in his room. I hope we get to see more of this Abhimanyu as that’s his core character trait.
I actually loved that Abhimanyu finally admitted that not being able to function as a surgeon is a big deal - that it is part of his identity, his calling and his passion.
The way he was sitting at home resigned to the fact that there is 70% nerve damage in his hands and that soon it will become 100% and he will lose the use of his hand completely never resonated with me. For someone who grew up in the corridors of the hospital waiting, working, training to be a surgeon - I was expecting him to be devastated at not being able to perform surgeries or even do CPR. So I was glad to see a strong reaction from him, finally- acknowledging the humongous loss. I loved it.
Akshara could have had louder stronger dialogues for sure, reassuring him. But I think she’s steeling herself to face the reality in front of her and build her resolve and perhaps that’s why she was given fewer dialogues.
I felt they could have used the CPR scene to show Abhi coaching Akshara on CPR - counting, timing the CPR - it would have added to the drama too.

Yes true. For a passionate surgeon like him - the possibility that he won’t be able to do surgery ever - that uproots his whole existence. As usual Harshad beautifully portrayed the scene and Pranali complimented him so nicely. I like the theory that Akshara is in process of becoming stronger - I’ll be the happiest if that happens.
