I didn't say he wasn't good..wished he was better.

I loved their chemistry in HDDCS and would've liked to see them together..as simple as that.

And ya Sameer Nandini should've also ended up together..it would've been easier for Vanraj to get over Nandini compared to Sameer-Nandini over eachother

I mean if Uday’s character was in love with his childhood friend for so long then he had so many opportunities before Jimmy even entered her life to realize and express how he feels. It almost seemed like he took her for granted. He felt he didn’t have to do anything for her love. He only realized what he has lost until another man claims his property. So typical! Not to mention all the affairs he had with girls that supposedly reminded him of Anjali. Yet he made a huge issue of Jimmy’s past before even met Anjali?? It just seemed hypocritical.

This movie infuriated me too, firstly, for the reasons you mentioned.

And secondly cuz she was equally idiotic for dropping the bomb the night before the actual day of wedding on the poor guy, defeating the entire "war" he had going with Uday all along. That was a very convenient cop out at the end! The soundtracks were decent, Jimmy looked handsome and all of them are decent actors, but the story was just all over the place!

and I don't know if it's just me but Uday was copying SRK's DDLJ expressions the whole time. 😆 But I find him unintentionally hilarious and chalked that up to the movie director.

I watch the first half and put it away right around Lut Gaye. 😆 cuz the second half is truly intolerable.

You know what makes me a Grade-A hypocrite though? If Vanraj was played by SRK, Arjun Rampal or HR, I’d still be upset with the ending but … not so much 😆

😆I feel ya. if he was even half as decent looking and charming as Jimmy in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi for example (who unfortunately doesn't get the girl), it wouldn't have been such a massive blow. Plus, I can't imagine anyone else playing such an annoying sacrificial lamb after Ajay there. 🤧
