Atif leaving Imlie for Aashiqana is understandable kinda, new medium , more freedom to be creative.. but him leaving that show too , was surprising 😅
If 4 Lions or the channel had any intentions of bringing the show to a halt , they wouldn’t hv roped in a new pair of directors 🤷♀️. .. as long as the content is gud , for me personally,it doesnt matter who is in charge🫢
It is only in this era of social media , spcly twitter , that folks are so hyper aware of the direction/ production team .. this wasnt the case a few years ago .. people are way too much involved now .. earlier the audience were blissfully unaware of the inner workings of a show and enjoyed a show for what it was meant to be ..entertainment..
Heck I still dont know who is the director of IPKKND , one of my most favorite Gul dramas 😛😄🤷♀️ come to think of it , I dont know the names of even just the directors of any of my fav shows.. just the PH , like oh this was an Ekta show n that was a Gul show 🤦♀️😋🤷♀️.. it might only be just me though 😅
Yes! No one knew who all the behind the scenes people were until people needed their behind the scenes addiction met. SBS and SBB were our only sources but nowadays most of these shows with younger generations have a social media obsession.
I personally think Atif left because of the current Khichdi of the OTT show and there doesn’t seem to be any clear direction of where they are going.
We are lucky that FK and STK have social media profiles that they interact with fans. Sobti from IPKKND NEVER got on in IG or twitter and the show did fine and has a great cult following.
Tell family to watch on TV in India for more then the first 5 minutes and that’s how TRP rises. I don’t know how much online viewership contributes but unfortunately the aunties matter only.
Arylie, Sumbul and Fahmaan, cast and crew will make things fall into place, we just need to have faith and patience
PS Lalit Mohan was his name, he was/is a fantastic director and still is on good terms with IPKKND and IB cast and 4Lions management.

As for Aashiqana , completely agree.. I think they started off with an exciting premise but then it started going down the usual ITV drama route 🤦♀️ .. why would someone looking for creative freedom stay then 🤷♀️

FK just bought a brand new car, money has to come from somewhere. And STK is just getting started, that girl has so much she can accomplish and she’s only 18! Both are great reasons to watch the show!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The show is popular, we are doing better than Sitara’s longest running show and our leads have amazing range and chemistry. GK needs money from somewhere so this is what she’ll tap. Whatever creative differences there are, people have left in a civilized manner and we don’t see their dirty laundry aired out.
Keeping my fingers crossed for more rocking episodes the rest of this week to offset offscreen drama!
