I was damn annoyed by appu telling stories to k family like an 8 year old child. I'm done with her childlike behaviour and bot eating with own 2 hands. Enough now. Let her be a bit more mature like divorce wali appu.

As per the original Khorkotu Shappu break-up twice. First is happening right now and second happens after Manasi's baby is born. During second break-up I think Shashank will join her college as guest lecturer and she will behave more maturedly then if I remember correctly.

Also I think in this track in Khorkotu Dr. Kaushik plans a fake wedding of Shappu to make them both realize their love for each other.

Yes episode was skippable

TR isn't following Khorkuto to the T, they're bringing their own twists while keeping the essence of khorkuto alive.

We discussed already that how and when gungun is gonna leave home twice. Everybody's praying they don't show the crap they did with Gungun and Mishti's baby.

I do think that Anjali and Netra will pull something to separate Shappu again because they met twice already to do it. Netra already started by complaining about Shashank not being available after working hours because she wants him to be away from appu.

So maybe some more romantic episodes before a bigger misunderstanding between them.

And then appu back to college and Shashank should join as a guest lecturer. I'm personally rooting for this since a month in TR because it was damn cute in Khorkuto.

i am fortunate enough to understand several languages like bengali, marathi, malayalam and speak kannada, telugu, tamil and hindi. So I followed this show in bengalai, marathi, tamil and kannada. Luckily i somehow skipped the hindi version maybe because i was bitter that it replaced a show that i liked. I also didn't follow malayalam version much.

Coming to Marathi version though its not a scene by scene replica of the original they seem to still following all the important events from Kaushik bringing back sumi, Vithu n Appu's bad singing, Cookie's bank issue, Appu's cooking. there are minor changes like avantika is shown in marathi whereas in bangali it shows her son coming to the family. So my guess is they will surely make Appu leave twice. This is indeed needed as the first once makes Shappu realize their love and the second one makes the family realize their mistake. I dont mind her leaving twice but I dont want dr. Kaushik to die in Marathi as that was shown in bengali because of the sad demise of the actor in real life.

The kannada version is a replica of the marathi version. In fact the family is shown to hail from north karnataka where there is a lot of marathi infleunce. Normally in karnataka sister-in-law is called atthige but in north karnataka they call vahini. So Jenugudu is a faithful remake of TR than Khorkotu.

The Tamil version has a bit of deviance wherein Appu helps Vithu become a successful singer and even acts in his music video. But by large the rest of the story more or less follows Khorkotu.

In august the telugu version is going to be telecast. Lets see how that goes.

Just last week i came to this forum to check how the hindi version is going on and was shocked at how they have butchered the show. So haven't watched a single episode of hindi.

Today's episode has so much potential but faltu timepass did them dirty.

Shashank came with ice cream, kaushik and Sarika found out. They try to scare appu that they know but went to sleep.

Appu ne mast narazi dikhai but she also melted like his ice cream.

Last me he's about to leave but she wants her teddy for the night so he stays.

Precap Kaushik is with Shappu in their living room and says if you wanna separate from Shashank then why do you meet him secretly every evening.

If you wanna be with him, you can go to him. That way you will be with him all the time.

Anjali is seeing all this.

I'm so desperately waiting for the day that this show starts in Telugu! They've already started in Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil so far, so if they do Telugu too, it will cover all of south india!...

I doubt Shappu chemistry can be recreated but I would love to see the local spin on it. I've never watched an actual telugu serial in my life but I'd be willing to break that record this remake!

The telugu version will start this month.
