There should be some rationality in thought. Hamza can be 70% good, but he can be 30% misogynist, that’s the fault of the writer. So while we object of that 30% no ones disregarding his 70%.

But their religion is 100% devotion or you are a bigot.

That’s true but to be fair Farhan’s fandom is 80% comprised of girls between 14 to 18 year olds. That’s both his blessing and his curse. Blessing because they lap up, justify and worship anything he or his characters do. Fawn over him day and night. Curse because it is beginning to put off people. Also the men can cry and breaking stereotypes narrative got him trolled last week. They really over do it at times.

I actually liked him going self destructive and yet wouldn’t think of leaving hala. But couldn’t enjoy that because his self pity is praise worthy than his love for hala. Men have cried before on screen, it wasn’t new. But men don’t usually choose their women over their pride. Discussing that would mean accepting hala, par majaal hai 🤣

@bold makes me feel like a fossil…I actually like farhan but I also like hania. but when I watch I don’t feel the need to defend hamza or hala when they clown coz neither will give me their property mein hissa.

I said 80% 😆 And I agree about the characters. I mean I would still consider defending for a non-desi show, but never for ITV or Pakistani dramas. Because the writers smoke something different each time they write an episode and the characters are mostly half baked.

Well atleast fossils are useful 🤣

Maybe they are also smoking surf, rinse n repeat😆

But what I find funny is ARY posts these clips with captions and they are always progressive expectations-

will hamza make hala confident/will SJ get her karma/hala gains an ally in hamza/equal partners/etc etc, (not word by word but the basic intention is same)
So I guess the makers gave the channel a plot where “mere humsafar” meant that there will be a gradual progression after every hurdle and it’ll get unwrapped slowly and steadily. BUT they loved slowly a little more than steadily.
