Such a high screen count, no competition from any other movie, big promotions and it managed to get the same opening numbers at 83.

When 83 released half the cinema halls were shut, and those that were open only had 50% occupancy, and there was such a big fear of covid that most people were too scared to go to cinema halls. There was also competition from pushpa and spiderman.

Correction: 83 collected more on its opening day
