Well standard rules apply:

a) Select the Category in which the forum best fits. Give the forum a name which is not yet created. And write a small description about the forum you are trying to create.

b) Yes it can be any name till its not abusive / derogatory / mocking etc.

c) Forum name has to be unique. Meaning 2 forum with the same name is not allowed. This is to prevent confusion.


Can 2 different forums be merged?
Yes. We will bring that feature where if the creators of 2 different forums on similar Subject wants to join hands. They can merge their forums.

There are already 2 or 3 food forums. What to do about that??

After inviting the members, if you make the forum "approval based", you'll see the list of invitees pop up as waiting for approval.

These approved members won't show up in the list unless they come in the Forum and click the heart button.

In TC Forum, I invited 17 members, they're all showing up when I click see all members but when navigating, it only shows 10 members.

It's heartening to see the response that we have received for the Private Forums feature.

We have updated the Forum page further:

Now you get the Joined Tab so that you can easily access all the Private forums you have joined.

Another change that we did is that instead of going to each Private forums we can easily access all the last 7 days topic from Forum main page.

Do share your feedback / suggestion on how we can further improve this.

We are making changes so that we allow Creators / Managers to invite members. Currently this is just with Invite Only but we are changing it to All Private forums.

Sir, as a creator, I'm unable to "Edit" other members' post. It shows error 401, unauthorised access. Trash button works well.

I am in total love with this new "Private Forum" feature and the updates are making it more better everyday. Kudos to you and your team.

After the tagging feature this one is the next super hit feature

I would suggest start with inviting your friends to Join. Get some topics going. And once it starts getting some we will automatically be featuring and promoting the forums.

Vijay if my private forum is approval based, how do I nvite people to it? I don't see any option to invite.
