Overall I liked the song and all 3 sang well. I find many of HR's melodies end abruptly. If the last line is repeated on fade then there is a finality to the song. This way one is not sure if there is more to come when only the audio is heard.
finally i heard the complete song. Agree with you.
One of the better composition than last few songs.
Arunita has done great job as usual. Glad Sayli avoided extra sweetness. She and Ashish both are sounding good.
Overall i liked it

Same here. Overall nicely done.
Arunita owned the song with that melodious opening. What a voice!! ❤️
I am told Arunita and Ashish recorded "Ek Pal Bhi Tummse Door "during the time they were auditioning for Idol. Sayli was added later. Aru recored 1st followed by Ashish. The packaging for release was done later.

That's interesting! I have been wondering how HR came about having Aru and Sayli on this song. Feel he is driven by the # of views that he can garner.
Aru could have sung the whole song and would have been excellent.
Hope he doesn't believe that he may not get views on Aru duets with anyone else other then Pawan looking at relatively lack luster response on Aru-Nihal song.
It's imperative for Aru to establish herself as an individual!
Liked the song. It doesn't have that tabla dholak kind of compositions that HR has been making. I think the three singers work well together. Stops the composition from becoming repetitive.
Just noticed that he has worked with a ton of other singers too recently. Shekinah has a great voice. Ankush too.

Wow! Wonder what could be the reasoning behind this! Surely Sayli can't be considered as more likely to draw views / streams than Arunita?

Focus on solo career is the only way to long term sustainable career success.

Also, if Sayli basically re-recorded the portions that would have been originally sung by Arunita, that might explain why Arunita doesn't make eye contact at all with Sayli in the video. She may be upset at the whole arrangement but with no choice but to go ahead.
Clip of Khamoshiyan by Arunita in Kolkata on 16 Jul 2022. Seems to be from the official recording of that event.
