I honestly don't know what to think😆. They tried to make a 21st century version with the dialogues, but it felt shallow. I can't explain it, because Emma (w/Anya Taylor Joy) was filmed similarly but that one worked great.
I never read Persuasion, but I guess they just didn't hit Anne Elliott's character properly. And Captain Wentworth was such a bore
It's a one time watch. Looks visually appealing....I guess that's the only plus😆

I read it ages ago and Anne Elliott was this gloomy kind of person but really sensible person so yeah they seemed to have turned her into a completely different character altogether 😆.
